THEY SERIOUSLY DONT BREAK
Just buy them. Don't waste your time with any other laces. My husband is pretty good at breaking laces every other week. Got these for the husband January 4th and we are at March 29th and they haven't frayed or broke yet. My husband works outside in the elements mud, rain, salt and they are still holding up. They lightened up in color but that's the only thing. Great product will buy again if I need to.

Outlasts OEM Laces
I've been wearing these laces 5 days a week for a little over a year now and they're still holding up. There's a little bit of fraying but it seems superficial. New out of the box, they're coated in something dark and mildly sticky. I remember it wasn't so bad that I had to go back inside to wash my hands, but was noticeable enough that I was wiping my hand on my pants. The laces lock together tightly and I've never worried about them coming undone. They've definitely outlasted the laces that come with the boot, as those tend to snap right at the last set of eyelets. I'll be getting another pair of these laces with my next pair of boots.

Holds up to heavy sparks from grinders!
Most durable laces that can still be tied well enough that I have ever seen! Lasted over two years of heavy sparks and even occasional molten metal from use as a steel pipe fitter/fabricator. Normal cheap laces last a month or two, "durable" laces and the original laces that come with the name brand timberland boots last 3-5 months, these lasted over two years and more than paid in the difference in cost. Still they failed in the same way, dry rot and failure in the underside which never got cleaned but zero damage from sparks so they far outlasted everything. To give an idea of the abuse, my $190 timberland boots only last 12-16 months and my full leather apron to block the sparks at my stomach only lasts a year so these things can clearly take abuse. Worth the money for me most definitely. The main con is the cost, really unless your dealing with sparks or mud these arent worth your money in my opinion, but some people really need laces that can handle sparks and weld slpatter and these work for that surprizingly well. The only real con beyond the cost is the stiffness, they are more difficult to tie but I learned an effective way to tie it with little risk of untieing and easy untieing later. Single underloop to start basically the way most teach to tie shoes, then single bunny ear and pull the otherside all the way through (dont make two ears at the same time, just one), then bunny ear the other side as a double tie and get it very tight. The first bunny ear tightens to the shoe and the second ear tightens to the first ear. This way never has come untied unless the string was left too long and got stepped on, actually these get tighter than conventional laces only doing this way specifically but releasing isnt an issue since pulling the correct string will pull out one loop then pull the other and its untied. The laces do require a very tight tie to not come untied, but doing the separate single bunny ears as described allows for a very tight tie without the shoe itself being too tight. Dunno why but tieing the bunny ears together for a double tie does not stay tied since they are too stiff, and only doing the bunny ears for a single tie as normally taught for tennis shoes doesnt stay either. And this style isnt as effective with normal laces as with these laces either, im on my feet for 10-12 hours a day in these climbing over stuff and climbing inside of pipe and never came untied unless the release string was pulled. Yet my thin laces on my tennis shoes never stayed tied with this tieing style. If you need laces that can handle sparks and can figure out a tie for them since they are thicker these are very highly recommended!

These are great laces, but not perfect.
As far as their claim to be indestructible, I will agree with that. I actually tried to cut one of these and it is not easy to do. I tried tin snips and scissors and both took multiple attempts to get through all strands of the lace. They are strong. There are downsides though. The plastic coating to keep the ends from fraying falls off easily and when the ends fray it's very difficult cutting off the excess due to the indestructibility. Not a huge deal because I already had a package of metal lace ends that can be clamped on. This solves that problem. Next problem is they come untied easily if only tying them once. If you double tie them and give a good yank these things will not only stay tied, but will be hard to untie at that point. The last problem is that they are far from being black. They're essentially grey and a light grey at that. I really wished these were a true black. Would I recommend these? Absolutely. They work and they are strong. They also are easy to pull loose from the eyelets in a pair of due to their strength and rigidity. Overall I like these laces a lot. My biggest complaint is they're not black.

Great rough service laces, they stand up to everything!
Bought my first pair over 2 years ago, just received my second order. I work in a coal mine, fixing equipment above and below ground. These are without a doubt the best boot laces I have ever had. I highly recommend!!!

Unbelievable...
I bought a pair of these back in December of 2021. Nearly 5 years of heavy daily use. I work for UPS, so I am always on the move. This pair of laces has survived 6 pairs of boots, nearly 10,000 miles of walking, running, and unspeakable tomfoolery. I only bought the one pair, but it's faithfully endured everything I've put them through. I feel like these little bastards were blessed with the strength of Jesus Christ himself because they remain effectively undamaged to this day. IRONLACE isn't boasting by calling them indestructible... It's merely a statement of fact. I logged on to buy the 7th pair of boots they doubtlessly outlast and realized I never left a review. I genuinely feel it's a crime they're only being sold for $15.99, so I'm buying another pair. Not because I need more. Just because I want to support the brand.

You guys are something else. Thank you.

Very strong and tough laces. They will almost certainly outlast most workboots. I would prefer metal aglets as opposed to plastic. You will initially find them to be very stiff and slightly difficult to tie for the first few weeks of wear, and you should double knot them lest they come untied. Once they are broken in, they are comparable to other laces in terms of feel. I have two hard wildland fire seasons on these laces and have subjected them to repeated soakings, unimaginable muskeg gunk, jet-A aviation fuel, month-long periods of dampness, ash pits, and other forms of abuse that the average boot-lace should not be subjected to. If anything, this has just helped to break them in. The laces have faded to a dull grey (originally brown), but if you are buying these, you shouldn't really give a damn about the colour. After two wildland seasons, the plastic aglets are beginning to delaminate, but this this has not yet affected the integrity of the lace itself.

Hält. Hält einfach. Verliert die braune Farbe dabei, weil die einfach beim Schnüren laufend abgerieben wird, aber.... Hält.

A solid, good quality lace with more than enough length. Laces are thin and stiff; the rough exterior actually prevents lace knot from untying. The color is versatile and goes with different shades of brown and tan shoes. I do recommend this product.

The product was received promptly and sealed in original packaging. I can't comment on their durability yet as I haven't had them long enough but I will update (particularly if they don't last as long as I hope). However, they look and feel to be very high quality. As noted by others, the laces are relatively thin. In fairness, that info is provided in the item description (they are 1/8" or 3mm across). I've uploaded images showing the IronLace next to the ones being replaced so you can see the size difference though I should note that the old ones have swollen a bit with use over time. The size of the laces, as well as the solid aglets (tight and strong), made lacing the boots very easy. The laces themselves are stiff with a slight texture to them. I don't mind the stiffness and had no issues using them as-is out of the box. To this point I haven't had any issue with them loosening or becoming untied. I got the black version and, as the images show, they are more of a very dark grey, close to black but not a true black. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase at this point.
