Perfect Replacement 2000 528i Angel Eyes
So my car was built in 09/1999. Not sure if facelift or not. But I ordered another set for an different vendor by just decoding a 2000 528i and it said I needed the skinny pair. After baking headset and splitting them I realized I had the wrong type of adjuster. Found this seller and had correct part in 2 days. Luckily I didn't need the car or I would have been in a bind Best to check your headlight style so you can order correct adjuster type in your 1st try. Rated 5 stars as these are perfect replacements. Someone else on here rated it a 3 or 4 because it has no threads. It's a self threading adjuster! Just line it up and twist adjuster screw and it will begin to thread.

Excellent product
Excellent product and it fit like the OEM parts. You will need one set for each headlight assembly. These are also the least expensive I found anywhere.

Perfect Fit
Although these things are not easy to install, they fit just like factory, and do what they're supposed to do... which is a lot better than buying a new headlight assembly.

Worked great for a 2001 530, E39 w/ HID headlights
Watched many videos on repairing my lights without opening them. Knew I needed these parts to replace the broken pieces jiggling around inside my headlights. This is exactly what I needed for my E39, 2001 530 with HID headlights. With A LOT of patience, was able to replace the broken adjusters without heating and pulling plastic lenses off. Worked the adjusters into position through the lamp holes. IT CAN BE DONE. These fit perfectly and the price was great. No issues. Recommended.

Incomplete order
The smaller piece in the picture was not included/delivered. Completely useless to fix my headlights.

The square piece is too big, needs to be filed down.
This kit fits the E39 2001-2003 headlights. I have a 2001 525I. It took me over 6 hours to do this job. The longadjuster the goes next to the low beam was relatively easy if you use a piece of tape as is shown on the you tube video, the square adjastor it is a much more challenging and it took me all 3 hours to realize that the reason I could not get it to fit is because the piece was too big to fit where it supposed to. It is about 1 mm too widget and 1 mm too high, so I filed to match the broken piece with and it went in in less than 5 minutes. The second set was fast it took me about 30 minutes and after filing the square piece down it went in at the second try!! My lights are now working properly and I have visibility again at night. I gave 4 stars because one of the adjustors is not the right size.

Great aftermarket option
Great adjusters, better material than stock. If u have an 03, then you cant bake your headlights open to replace the adjusters, you have to go in through the bulb sockets and perform surgery.... do yourself a favor and get a set of long locking hemostats

It’s ok, but there are better parts.
In overall the quality is satisfactory. Adjuster sits in the receiving socket too tight, which makes it a little harder to install. It’s made from very hard plastic and adjuster screw goes in very tight. And this is a pretty serious issue, since on the other side of the adjuster screw there is a plastic nut that is molded on the adjuster screw. The nut is being used to turn the adjuster screw within the adjuster. But since the adjuster screw goes too tight in the adjuster the old plastic nut simply slips on the adjuster screw (and may fall off the adjuster screw at all). This may ruin the whole headlight since you can’t replace the adjuster screw nut since again- it was molded on the adjuster screw. I would suggest either to get the adjuster made from the different kind of plastic or make screw hole a hair wider or use some lubricant to minimize the risk of breaking the plastic nut.
