I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of this book... from the built in bookmark covers to the qr codes throughout the book that take you to explanatory videos... not to mention the adorable patterns themselves. Outstanding! Just got it today and I can't wait to start making creatures for my 2-1/2 year old granddaughter who is crazy about dinosaurs.

Cute book with easy instructions. Calls for a lot of sewing parts together where you could easily just keep crocheting. Instructions for where to sew the parts together could be clearer but I just guessed and it came out okay if not a little crooked.

The only dinosaur in the picture from this book is the yellow one in the center. The other two were beginner patterns I found online. I often get crochet books and don’t end up using them because the patterns are overly complicated or the way they are written is confusing. This book is full of great creative patterns that are actually doable (I completed one already) and easy to follow. Even the more complicated patterns are written in a way that makes them more accessible to your everyday crochet enthusiast (i.e., does as a hobby and not an expert).

The characters in the book are SUPER cute, and I love that the stitches come with a video explanation, but the problem is that not all of the video links actually exist, so I end up having to externally look up stitches other places. Sometimes the instructions are a bit hard to follow, and I wish they would say that you need to put craft beads in the bottom of several of these to make them actually sit up (because the heads are so large that they tip over without extra weight in the body.)

I love this book. Great product. You have to be an experienced crocheter.
