Can these cards be punched without hiting the anteena around the edge?

Contact the seller as again they are very helpful. They can provide the internal layout so that you do not punch out an area that might negatively effect the card.

I would recommend you contact the seller. They are very helpful and knowledgeable in this space. I assumed the ones I ordered were for our system and ordered. Then realized they did not work after ordering. I contacted seller and they quickly provided the right card type for our system. Hope this helps.

Can you punch a slot into the card (for badges) without hitting the antennas/wires inside the card? Is there a special light to see the wires?

A standard 3 hole punch will hit the wires. I tried and it rendered the card useless. The flashlight on your cell phone is bright enough to expose the wires when a card is placed directly on top of the led light.
