Necessary Upgrade From Plastic Adapters
Seals correctly on both small and medium caps and radiators. If you bought a Stant tester with the plastic adapter for small caps, you need to purchase this dual adapter. The plastic piece that comes with the Stant 12270 kit was useless for me, as it wouldn't hold pressure at all and caused me to misdiagnose my first few cap tests. This metal adapter solved the problem.

Worked as described
I was a bit skeptical at first as this adapter was priced much lower than other similar products however I gave it a shot and couldn’t have been happier. Liebherr radiator testing adapters are notoriously difficult to source so finding one that worked well and below market average price was a real win. I have since talked several other techs in my dealership into ordering them and we have all been happy with the purchase.

It did the job I needed to know for leak.
It work, I did have to add o-ring to get tight enough on radiator cap to get the psi build up correctly.

Leaks. Does not hold pressure on Caterpillar equipment.
It was the correct size for application. It just does not hold pressure. The thin seal is too thin and is not a tight enough fit. I tried pushing the thick rubber seal into radiator neck but when stacked it’s too thick. No matter what I tried it leaks when pressurized. Right past the seal. Should have went with a tool truck for something this critical.

A very useful adapter
I like I can use this adapter to connect my radiator tester to my heavy truck's radiator and test its caps. This particular item has been superseded by the MotoRad 7006-kt HD Adapter Kit, B01MTB8ZEG.

Wrong part for my application.
I ordered the wrong adapter. This one was for semi tractors. I wanted one for import cars with smaller radiator filler necks. All and all the adapter was very well build and would seem to do the job nicely.
