Endangered Species Dark Chocolate Bar with Cacao Nibs (72% cocoa)

Tried it for the first time today and liked it a lot. Slightly chalky taste but I personally love the balance between dark chocolate, mint and sweetness. Mint is mild and not cruncy. I am very happy with the purchase and will likely get another 12 pack once this is done. Awesome choice if you like dark chocolate.

ES dark chocolate bars are very smooth and thick texture. Mint flavor lasts much longer than expected after the chocolate melted completely in your mouth. Enjoy the taste very much. Plus this value pack equates less than 2.99 each bar which is definitely worth money to even try. Profit partially goes to save endangered aniaml which is a plus to provide a good cause then you need to purchase more.

Yes, the chocolate bars are incredible! They are my current favorite dark chocolate bars. That's why I had to turn to Amazon to order them. But what's most noteworthy is the packaging. Both this order and the one from this spring arrived in a giant box lined with several layers of protection, including cold packs! It was 97 degrees outside today and the bars arrived in perfect condition, what felt like 75 degrees where the bars were! Best packaging ever of anything I've ordered.

*Reviewing the “Mint” flavor dark chocolate.* I’m not a big fan of Dark Chocolate. I’m eating it for the health benefits. Normally dark chocolate is too bitter. I read different healthy chocolate lists and the main thing is not having Sugar as the first ingredient. I was surprised that this brand tasted as good as it does. For being dark chocolate mind you. The mint is subtle but enough to improve the bitter dark chocolate taste but subtle enough to be tasty if you don’t much prefer mint flavor.

I'm obsessed with this chocolate! I'm normally not a dark chocolate person, but in an attempt to be healthy I bought this (it was listed as #2 or 3 as one of the best fat burning dark chocolates, plus it's only 72%, so it's not too intense- just slightly bitter), and it's delicious! I usually eat three squares a day which equals 84 calories, it takes care of my chocolate cravings without breaking my calorie bank. The bar, however, is strange - it has three squares going across and five going down - so I'm not sure how you'd necessarily go about eating anything other than multiples of three without it becoming a hassle (or even half the bar, which is a serving size). Also, they're meant to be refrigerated, which also makes them a tad difficult to break up without using a serrated knife and causing a bit of a mess. That being said, I would never stray from this chocolate because of that, definitely worth the hassle!

I have sensitive skin, primarily eczema, that is triggered by refined sugar (among other foods). Not only is this chocolate tasty, but it does not trigger my eczema so that I can still enjoy sweets when I get the hankering. Since the chocolate is so rich, a couple of the small squares will satisfy when a whole bar of say a Snickers or 100 Grand would barely do so. So also great for dieters. My only issue is that it's 72% cocoa which is a little more dark than I generally prefer (I'm more a 54% gal), but after a few bars, I find that I'm developing a taste for the darker chocolate, which is healthier anyway.

I love the hint of mint in the dark chocolate. My husband and I eat it with coffee and really it is SO good. I am not sure why it got an earlier bad review. Trust me, its DELICIOUS! The reason the other person gave it one star is because it was melted. That has nothing to do with the bar itself, the delivery was the problem!

The perfect strength of cocoa for me is this 72%, though I had to get used to it after eating sweet chocolate. The nice thing about the 72% is that it doesn't give you sugar cravings so you can be happy with eating only two to six squares at a time. It is a perfect way to indulge yourself, yet cut back on sugar, especially if you love chocolate. It is expensive, though. Hopefully a good portion of that money is going to the people who produce it.
