This cord is made of natural cotton, and will degrade over time. It will last longer if you keep it out of sun and rain.

Is this oeko-tex certified?

I don’t have the original packaging, but nothing about this cord appears to be harmful in any way. I have been doing macrame for 50 years and use this cord often, especially for wall hangings. It’s very soft and easy to work with. I love it!!
