Good product
I read the reviews before ordering. Seems like a decent product. Installed over the weekend and had no issues with installing. Perfect fitment and everything works now as it should amd check engine line is out the door now. Definitely would buy again if ever needed.

Good value.
The catalytic converter on my useless turd (2004 Subaru Forester) needed to be replaced so that I could pass inspection and get rid of the CEL. This was so much cheaper than the ones sold at the dealer or at auto parts chains. And it worked. After installing this the car started running better, the CEL light turned off and it passed inspection! The fit was not exact, but close enough. Very happy with this purchase.

you get what you pay for
The value of this product is as it sounds... too good to be true. 1.... None of the through holes for heat shield match up with OE heat shield or the aftermarket one I tried thinking my OE kit was out of date. All 4 of the tubes the screws fit through are angled resulting in no possible way to even get just 2 of the mounting bolts provided in this kit to match the bottom plate of the heat shield. 2... The diagonal Flange that's supposed to mount to the OE mounting plate on our 2.4l 2008 compass is at an incorrect angle, and the spacing on the holes to mount to the bracket aren't even close. 3.... The supplied manifold gasket was folded in half and inserted into a sheet of cardboard tossed inside a plastic bag with all other hardware and just closed with 2 office staples. the outside box was in almost pristine condition when I received it off the delivery truck, so this was packed this way, not damaged during shipping as there could be no possible way the gasket could have achieved this in the box by itself. 4... the springs included with this kit for mounting the rest of the exhaust system to the outlet of the "maniverter" are way too long. Using these springs actually started to bend the flanges on both ends of system (maniverter and exhaust flange) before the bolts "bottomed out" and I only had about 3 threads into the mating surface. so its not just cheap quality flange as both mounting plates began to bend. so either the overall bolt length was way off or the supplied springs were way too long, I did not have the OE parts to compare as mine were completely corroded away. Overall, this part works and is at almost an unbelievable price compared to most of the major manufacturers price tags, and so far after some major modifications and alterations I managed to get this installed and is working. I do have a few pictures that will be uploaded along with Updates on longevity etc. But SERIOUSLY HOW CAN THIS PART BE SOLD AS A DIRECT BOLT ON REPLACEMENT FOR A 2008 JEEP COMPASS SPORT 4WD 2.4L as the seller claims !!?? Only purchase if your looking for something in a pinch or just don't have the funds to get a tried tested and true part. The install process for this is extremely labor extensive, this is not a project you want to take on in the driveway on a weekend. Just buy a quality part and save yourself the added frustration of modifying a "direct fit part" adding several hours more onto an already overwhelming and frustrating process even using professional repair manuals. I finished install last night and product seems to be working, updates will follow.....

Great exact replacement on 2002 Subaru Impreza TS Wagon 2.5, New problems after 1 mo
Exact fit on my 2002 Subaru Impreza TS Wagon 2.5 ltr. Looks great and greatest value for a cat converter on the internet. Followup 1 month later. Exhaust rattles a great deal, checked with garage that installed it, and no heat shields or hangers making noise. They indicated that something on the inside of the exhaust is broken or loose and sounds bad. Sent an email to Autosaver88 2 weeks ago and no response at all. Asked for warranty info, no response. Guess they do not care about the customers or even enough to followup when customer has a question or concern/problem with exhaust. Paid good money, and thought this was a good product, but it rattles and seller seems not to care at all enough to answer questions on product. Watch out, looks good, but a few people complained about rattles inside of the exhaust, this is a real pain to find out after 1 month that it is bad, and have to look for another exhaust and pay for another installation again. NOT GOOD DEALER SHOULD RESPOND TO WARRANTY QUESTIONS AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PROBLEMS THAT DEVELOP WITH A FEW MONTHS. If this is high quality, why do they not back up what they sell??? Update: Contacted company and they agreed to provide either a new unit or a full refund on the defective unit. I choose a complete refund, which they did without question. Did not have to return the defective unit, so that helped me so I did not have to pay additional shipping for the return. So very happy that they stepped up and honored the full refund on the defective unit. The defective unit rattled, so it looks like something came loose inside the cat. Great customer service, and really happy with how customer oriented they are. Took sometime for an answer, but they acted professionally and backed the product. Thanks and good job.....

Exact fit with no leaks.
Probably could've replaced just the leaking gasket on my old cats, but this was almost as easy because it came with new bolts and the old ones all had to be cut off. Seems to run a little smoother with more power since replacing, so my old ones were probably new end of life.

It actually is oem quality replacement.
Bought these as i previously hollowed out my cats in an attempt to ... well, whatever, anyhow the cats actually install flawlessly as well as function perfectly had codes for the cats below efficiency and now its alllllll cleared, best bang for the buck

02 Legacy GT Wagon (Modifications required.)
The shipping was great. The construction seemed very durable. Looks cool I guess. & Comes with all the hardware. [First]: The front flange on this converter is way too BIG, but it'll do with the provided gasket (which is way BIGGER than the flange on the Cat and Front Y pipe. Lol) I couldn't use the original bolts because those were rusted; So I had to buy new ones, only because the provided ones were too BIG for the holes. [IMPORTANT part of First]: The O2 Oxygen sensor furthest from the front flange will not go into the Cat unless you cut a piece out of the transmission cross member. It blocks the O2 Sensor and thus makes the flanges not flush. So you will need a Cut-Off wheel or whatever to cut a small chunk out, just enough so the O2 Sensor has room to sit upright out of the Cat. Or if you can cut and weld, then just reposition the the flange on the cat. *I also recommend replacing sensors. (Expensive, varies about $200 total for both sensors on the front Cat.)* No sensors needed on rear cat unless your model requires it. ****My model is a (2002 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon 2.5L - manual)**** [Second]: The middle bracket hole does NOT line up and is way too LONG. Might have to drill a hole. Make sure it is positioned right otherwise you'll be dealing with rattle from the heat shield against your resonator pipe or catalytic converter, like me lol. Still gotta tweak that and check for other rattles afterward. (UPDATE: I used some Boom Mat from AutoZone for sound dampening. And it's adhesive so I stuck it to the pipe and the heat shield it was rattling on. Very noticeable difference. Still rattles a little bit tolerable. It's because of the angle of the flange I'm sure. It makes it hug the driver side of the middle heat shield by the rear of the resonator pipe.) [Third]: The back on mine was way easier to remove than the front. It fits great at the flange. I recommend using the original spring bolts and nuts from that side. The new ones they provide are too skinny for the holes and will not allow the springs to sink down. Maybe you can use the new springs with the old bolts. Not sure. I used the old ones. [Fourth]: It turned off my Check Engine light which is great! Better acceleration overall and NO CE light! In my final opinion, you should invest in a more expensive converter that fits OEM exactly if you can afford to. But this will do on a budget. Let's see how long it will last. *Only has been Day ..(um idk lol) after it being installed.* *Will update this regularly!* *Update* *11-6-2022* I sold the car. Well actually I traded it in to get a 2014 Subaru Forester XT Touring lol I love it so far. Sorry I couldn't keep up with the updates. But that is the end of this review!
