Men's 125-matey

As you can see I'm using these boots as part of my Darth Vader costume. The arrived well packaged and have a nice feel to them. The side zipper is a good feature that makes covering my costume pants so easy. As others have mentioned the sole has no real support so I had an insole ready and, along with a pair of thick socks, it was as comfortable as my normal shoes. If the style fits your needs, it's a great option.

I ordered these boots on Amazon in order to try them on to see if they fit, and would only be charged if I opted to keep them. After trying them, I walked around a good bit, left them on for a few hours in a recliner, then walked around in them again, it was clear to me that the fit was very near perfect. So I opted to keep them and only then did Amazon charge me for the sale amount. I did not have to get dressed to go to a shoe store, did not have to drive to get to a store, and was able to try them out at home to ensure that I had a good fit. What a great way to get shoes that I can try before I buy, and be assured that I will like them! Bravo Amazon!

Good comfort and support with an added insole. Used for an amateur theatrical production. Looked great but scuffed a little. They don't breathe so taking them off after four hours is less than an olfactoral delight.

I am happy with these boots. I wear a mens 10.5 wide and I ordered the medium (10-11) size. They fit very well with just a bit of space which can easily be tightened up with thick socks, if needed. The main thing I underestimated was the calf diameter. Be careful. I have decently thick calves and these boots just barely work for me with the upper calf part, but, after I get them on, I can move fine. I just want to be caution regarding the zipper. Like other comment(s) said, these are not for day-to-day use but for special events. I like the fact that the zipper has an inside lip (to help the zipper not catch pants when zipping up) and that there is a nice bit of padding on the insole. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Like other people have posted, the boot is a little different than the picture, it is a little but more robust looking, slightly rounder, but for the price, it's hard to beat. The zipper feels solid, the boot looks and feels well-made. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap boot that looks good and feels good. If it's too big, just wear thicker socks or get a cheap gel insole. Update: after having these for a few years, I honestly wish that I had gotten different ones. They're big. Way bigger than the alleged size that you order them in. I wear a 10.5 shoe, and I ordered a 10.5, but they fit like 12+. This makes walking around in them for any extended period of time a bit unpleasant, especially if there are stairs involved.

I am a size 7 1/2 and was worried the boot would be too loose, however, although yes there is a little wiggle room, the boot fit well and I was able to walk around for an entire afternoon and not notice any issues! Very well crafted boot. If you are needing a boot for a superhero suit, this is PERFECT!

These are very good boots. Well made, and even fit my orthotics. Comfortable to wear and walk around in.
