Wow, I was not expecting that! We've used other fluoride-free toothpastes and they've either been watery or in the case of another popular brand whose instructions include not wetting with water, oily. This toothpaste, despite being sulphate free, lathers up nicely, leaves teeth feeling squeaky clean and is absolutely full of flavor. It's definitely minty, but rather than citrus, we taste cardamom, clove and cinnamon. Overall, it's a very intense flavor and might be too strong for young kids. Personally, I absolutely love it and if forced to pick one toothpaste for the rest of my life - no questions, this would be it for me. My only piece of critical feedback would be the key that comes with it to squeeze every last drop from the tube. It's works like a charm, but you only need one - like for the rest of your life. I can't help thinking about the fact that it's wasteful to include one in every box and that the cost of making them is being passed on to the consumer, who in most cases, won't need more than one. It's already more expensive than big fluoride-containing brands so anywhere to reduce the cost would be great. With that said, the tube is larger in size and honestly, the quality and peace of mind are worth it. This toothpaste checks several boxes for me. It cleans well, rinses off the brush fully, has a big bold taste and is most importantly, fluoride free.

I have been using David's toothpaste for a couple of months now and I'm very pleased with it. My teeth are noticeably smoother-feeling and plaque build up is a lot less. Possibly a bit whiter as well. It's very gentle on the gums and all the flavors I've tried so far (4) are decent. The spearmint flavor is a bit intense, but I'm very sensitive to peppermint so others may not experience it that way. The herbal citrus mint flavor is even more intense (has peppermint); but okay if you like peppermint. The strawberry-watermelon one is very nice; a delicate fruit flavor and not too sweet. Orange vanilla is an interesting flavor; a little odd at first, but it grew on me and now I quite like it. Taste is such an individual thing; best to try them out. The tubes are metal, so you might want to order a metal key to wind up the tubes as you use them (they don't come with them anymore). Makes it easier.

The flavor isn't overwhelming, barely tell it's citrus It's doesn't get that foamy It cleans good I'm trying this one for the first time as I usually use Himalaya fluoride free toothpaste and this one looked promising as well.

I had been looking for a toothpaste that cleans and whitens without additional chemicals that were causing sensitivity issues. This one works really well and has ended my long time search for an effective yet gentle formula.

A couple months ago I purchased my first tube of David's fluoride free toothpaste. I wanted to see how well it worked. I'm happy to say it worked great! The mint isn't over-powering like most toothpastes, but it does a fine job freshening my breath. After a few days use I noticed an improvement with both my teeth and gums. When I used 2/3 of the tube I chose to try a different flavor, this time we tried the Citrus Mint. I like it just as much as the original flavor! The flavor is nice, refreshing, and it works okay for teeth. But I bought it thinking that it was a different flavor for the hydroxyapatite toothpaste this brand also sells and works great. It is not. That is on me. I don't think I'll buy this one again. Their other products, however, yes.
