Awapuhi Wild Ginger by Paul Mitchell Cream Rinse, Detangles + Repairs, For Dry, Damaged + Color-Treated Hair

I tried just about every conditioner and shampoo, and never was truly satisfied. I must say, I was SO surprised using this! Paul Mitchell brand harkens me back to the glorious 80’s, and so I figured I’d give it a shot. As an African American male with type 4 hair, I honestly didn’t expect much. The first shocker was that this detangled and softened my hair, almost like I had a relaxer put in. The smell is heavenly, like the hotel lobby of a nice resort. I could not believe the results! Again, I used some high end (white) and black targeted brands. But now my hair is very soft, a comb goes through it easily, and smells great. As far as value, I don’t care about the cost because I’m worth it. I think the value is good considering it makes me look, feel and smell good. That’s got to be worth something! My hair is also shiny and when I brush it right before bed, you still can see the sheen and it brushes easily. This is not greasy at all, and is also light weight and well moisturizing. I encourage you to try a small tube first. But don’t cheap out. Get the matching shampoo and the mousse too - they all work together well.

I am very happy with this purchase. My hair is thanking me. I got the shampoo and conditioner and together it was a little expensive but the quality is good my hair is a lot smoother and the smell is great. I will get the big bottle next time.

Love this product! It smells great and doesn't leave my hair too soft that it doesn't do anything. Used to buy this at Ulta but they no longer carry it in the store.

The Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Keratin Cream Rinse is a really nice product (and I have tried dozens of products for my thinning, colored treated hair). The smell is great and it conditions my hair nicely (did I say the smell is great!). There is still a fine line between using just enough of this product to condition my hair versus too much which then weighs my thin hair down and makes it go "flat" by the next day (that's why 4 stars instead of 5). I use this product in combination with the Awapuhi Wild Ginger Hydrocream Whip. The combination provides great body and allows me a couple of days between hair washes without my hair going too limp. Also, the effects of this conditioner are noticeable with subsequent hair washing unless I use a shampoo that is specifically targeted for removing hair product residue. So care must be taken to use less conditioner if you wash your hair frequently or there will be a residue buildup that flattens thin hair.

While it is pricey, it also very good. As I’ve aged I find my hair needs more help. This wild ginger line is fantastic. It has a light scent, it rinses well, and it leaves my hair soft without weighing it down.

I purchased this Product as a set Shampoo and Conditioner. I paid a total of $139.31. Sold and Shipped through Amazon but, purchased through @PaulMitchell Storefront. Upon receipt, I could not disengage the pumps. I tried everything and the pump tops would not unlock. Since I was out of Shampoo & Conditioner, I was forced to use universal pumps I had on hand. The Paul Mitchell pumps have much larger “tubes” compared to the universal tubes. I tried contacting Seller but, no Option to do so. Since this happened on both bottles, there is definitely a flaw with the pumps.

Incroyable cheveux doux et souples je recommande

Ce rince semble banal dans sa bouteille de plastique mou, à priori. Puis, après avoir utilisé le shampooing de la même gamme, j'ai appliqué ce rince. L'odeur est juste incroyable! Une expérience olfactive rarement vécue. ÇA SENT INCROYABLEMENT BON !!!! Tellement, que j'aimerais bien que Paul Mitchell crée un parfum avec ses notes. C'est une ivresse totale. Et ... attendez ... ce n'est pas tout, ce qu'il fait au cheveux est miraculeux. Je n'ai même pas eu besoin d'appliquer une huile légère après pour les faire briller et qu'ils soient légers. Mes cheveux brillent et sont extrêmement dociles. Et croyez-moi, plus maganés, c'est la chute de cheveux. Mes cheveux étaient extrêmement maganés. Ils cassaient, les pointes étaient sèches et fourchues. J'ai usé de colorations et de nombreuses décoloration. Et avec cette gamme, mes cheveux renaîent tout simplement. Ich benutze seit 20 Jahren ausschließlich Haarpflege von Friseuren, zu allerletzt hatte ich "concept of beauty" benutzt, das war bis dahin das Beste das ich je hatte. Aber die Awapuhi Reihe ist noch besser. Meine Haare glänzen und sind super weich und der Geruch ist himmtlisch. Ich habe Locken und mit dieser Reihe sind die Locken total definiert. Wenn ich sie allerdings glatt föhne bleiben sie ewig lang so über Tage sogar (ich wasche meine Haare nur 1-2 mal pro Woche). Ich kann das Shampoo und die gesamte Reihe nur empfehlen
