Perfect!!!
Well, ever year when spring comes along (thank goodness) I had been forced to purchase new hoses (EXPENSIVE, maybe 3 or 4 of em) but last year I purchased these and am thrilled!!! Saved me big bucks cause I REPAIRED and didn't replace! Second time ordering and no, the repairs last year are still good! But other hoses were in need of repair and accomplished that yesterday. DON'T REPLACE, REPAIR and purchase these. Get out some WD-40, give it a squirt, put the hose end in the sun and give it some time and slide the replacement part in and bingo! Darn near almost new hose!

Check the inside of your hose for smoothness before installing.
Put this on an old wornout hose i bought from Sam's and they leaked. Turned out the Sams hose had an internal raised bump on the inside of the hose. Had a stepped drill attachment for drilling different size holes and used that to clean the inside of the hose and smooth it all around. Reinstalled the adaptors with some pipe glue and tightened them down really good. No more leaks. Works good .

Great value but thin metal!
I was so excited to receive this product so that I could fix two water hoses that I needed for months but was unable to use. The seller even messaged me after placing the order to let me know they appreciated my order and they were available if I had any questions (I DEFINITELY LIKED THE SELLER INTERACTION). Well, I received the product and immediately went outside to repair one of my water hose. Bam! Everything was very simple to complete and in minutes I had my good hose fixed! However, each time I used the hose I noticed the “collar” placed on the end had moved but the screw was still tight. I did leave pressure on the hose a few times and I believe that’s what made the clamp blow off while I was using the hose. I don’t think it was defect in product and it was a great value definitely. Just cannot seem to keep one on the end of the hose now without blowing off. Probably something I am doing wrong or maybe cheap thin collar?!

Good price for everything you get
Hose sprung a leak near the end so cut it off and installed a new Male Fitting on it. Got these with both Male and Female ends and the hose clamps to keep them on. It was a tight fit but sprayed a little lubricant on it and pushed it on with a little force. Then tightened down the hose clamp to complete the job. When testing for leaks I did Not get it tight enough so had to crank it down some more. Then all was golden. Good, easy and inexpensive repair. I highly recommend this item for hose repair.

The brass itself is a very good quality however the hose clamps are completely useless as they do not tighten up enough to keep the water from spewing out they strip internally very quick

Funcionan muy bien, pero lo son de los que cortan el agua al desconectar. También requieren mucha precisión al colocarse.
