I absolutely love the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum — it’s become a staple in my skincare routine! This serum delivers intense hydration without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. As a female with fairly decent (and sensitive) skin, I have spent my prior years focusing on just keeping it clean and blemish-free. Now that I've hit my 30's, my focus has started shifting to prevention (and still cleanliness, of course). I have been using this product consistently for the past 6 months, twice daily as it is recommended. Here's my take: -A little goes a long way. The bottle has a little plunger button on top that serves as a "dosage" dropper. It doesn't look like a lot at first, but I feel that its plenty sufficient for my face and neck. -Don't be put off by the little beads inside the serum. They dissolve immediately, and I have not ever seen any residual blue on my face. -Make sure to slightly dampen your face with a bit of water before each application. This helps with proper absorption of the serum. -After cleansing, this should be the next step in your skin routine. Allow a few minutes before applying anything else to your face after. This ensures the serum fully soaks in, allows for it to fully dry (any tackiness should go away), and prevents caking afterward. -If you choose to give it a try - like most serums - it can take a bit of time before you may see a difference. As with most things in life, every person's experience is different. I have very sensitive skin and in my personal experience, this formula does not irritate me. It is truly fragrance-free, as advertised. I do not find it to be oily or heavy after application, and I like the way my skin feels refreshed after. Overall, I have noticed a positive difference in the appearance of my skin, and feel confident about the ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and urea - keeping my skin looking and feeling its best.

I used this for around 3-4 months and my skin was super moisturized and bouncy, just like the commercials. However, at one point I noticed I had this awful dry patch next to my mouth, and my lips started getting really dry and chapped. NOTHING made them better. It was summer and humid--not windy and dry and cold--so I really had no idea what was going on. I eliminated a ton of things in my "routine", but didn't figure this could be it because it's FRAGRANCE FREE (which is so important; fragrances don't need to be in ANY skincare products and I'm super mad that they're always there). However when I eliminated this, the problem didn't get better, but it didn't get worse. I changed brands, treated the dryness VERY slowly and it eventually went away. Fast forward months later, and I ran out of my other stuff so I grabbed this again. Within hours my lips started burning and drying out. I have no idea what ingredient in here does this to me, only that something does. No other brand of HA does this to me (that I've tried). Bummer, because it did work on my skin before it irritated it but at some point it turned and started bothering it. I have pale, dry, sensitive skin that's easily irritated. If you have easily irritated skin, use with caution. The moment you notice any dryness, discontinue use. As with any skin care product, results are based on a person's regimen and skin type, which is why I didn't give it a 1 star. I think it works if you're not irritated with whatever irritant is here, it's a good value and I like the packaging. Hopefully you won't react like I did.
