I was a little leery after reading some of the reviews, but since I NEVER put lids like these in a dishwasher, I figured I'd take the risk. After almost 30 years I had to let my faithful old mixing/storage bowls go to the great beyond, and I put off buying new for almost a year. But this price was right, so I figured I'd give these a try. First of all, they are actually attractive. The colors are vibrant & pretty, so that was a surprise plus when I opened the box. Second, they are sturdy- more so than I anticipated. And third, all the complaints about the tops, well maybe I just got lucky, but all 5 of mine fit perfectly. Did take me a minute to figure out getting them off easily-- there's a designated spot around the edge for you to lift up. As I said, I wouldn't put these (or ANY) plastic lids in the dishwasher, so that's not a problem for me. I mean, seriously, it takes 20 seconds to wash a lid by hand. That all said, I think I'm going to order a second set because I like them that much.

Pleasantly surprised. More heavy duty than I expected at this price point. Very nice bowls. Cute on the summer outdoor tables. Like that the lids are “burbable” easily. Will post again if they don’t hold up. I never put my storage lids in the dishwasher, but I do put storage bowls in the dishwasher. Love the colors. Cute with the colorful plastic plates and cups etc. for outside and indoor “not fancy” parties.

These bowls are very sturdy. They don’t take up too much space, the lids are easy to put on and remove. They come out of the dishwasher in great condition. The plastic is strong and just heavy enough to be useful for years.

These bowls stack very well, and the lids even nest together (although a little too tightly; it's hard to get them apart.) They are very handy. I used the small (red) bowl once in the microwave, and the bowl was fine, but the lid was ruined because it puckered up and would no longer fit on the bowl. I've had them 2.5 years and used them a lot. Just a few days ago the large (purple) lid split along the edge, since the lids stretch tightly when snapped on. See the photos. I estimate I've used the purple bowl about 25 times over the time I've had them, which in my opinion is too soon to fail.

These are best bowls ever. Found a set several years ago in Catalogue I received in the mail. Loved them from the start. Sadly years have gone by and some of the lids ripped and had to be thrown out, but I continued to use the bowls anyway. Imagine my surprise when I ran across them while searching Amazon website for something else. Yes I absolutely ordered a new set and love them too. Will probably order another just just to have. They are good for storage, mixing , leftovers. The best thing about these bowls is they nestle all together - lids too - so very little space is taken up on cabinet shelves. You won’t be sorry!!!

Updating my original review. My first order did have a black mark on the purple lid, and the bottom of the green bowl was broken. I reached out to the company, and my oversight, they did reach out to me, I simply missed it. In the meantime Amazon came through and when I went to replace the first set, they took care of everything and sent me a 2nd set, which was perfect with no issues. My apologies to the company for overlooking their response. I really do like this set, and I am glad that all my bowls now look & work great. Due to the nesting, these bowls store easily, and the little "finger" notch helps you easily open each lid.

I bought these bowl for my new daughter-in-law for a birthday gift, bought 2 by mistake. Glad I did, so easy to store, cleaning was a breeze. Husband microwaved spaghettis and red sauce in one of the bowls on the first day of having them, I was sure the bowl was ruined. NOPE - clean as a whistle no grease, no red stain, amazed me and saved the husband. Great bowl set would recommend to everyone.

Nice choice in sizes, lids easy on and off, but with a tight fit

These bowls are of exceptional quality. They are the perfect sizes, they seal very tightly, I don't have to worry about them leaking when I am transporting food items to functions. Another amazing product. Thank you

These Colourful bowls will be so handy for whatever you need to do this holiday season, whether you are baking or putting out snacks there is a size and bowl for each.

This was a gift for my sister-in-law and she loved them. She especially liked how they all stacked together even with the lids on so storage was easy

Not as big of bowls as I thought but they are cute and store very nicely.
