Defective
Worked for half a day, then made a grinding noise. Ever since that, any time it would be on it would make deep thumping noises, which is absolutely not normal for a new hard drive.

I was able to remove 3 older drives totaling 3.5 TB from my machine and partition this drive into 3 - 4 TB drives to take their place. Reduced power consumption, 8.5 more TB of storage and great performance for a mechanical device. I have only had the device installed for 2 weeks, so longevity is still a question, but my other Toshiba drives were 10 years old before they needed replacement.

المنتج جيد لكن يحتاج محترف من أجل يقوم ب جعل هو 4tb ف أنصح ب عدم شراء هو من قبل الأشخاص العاديين الذي عندهم خبرة قليلة ف هو يحتاج برمجه من الويندوز لأجل يكون 4tb ف من دون برمجة يكون 2tb فقط ثم هناك صوت مزعج به عند فحص الكمبيوتر أو تنصيب برنامج كبير أو لعبة نسمع صوت تكتكة تذهب عند يخلص الأمر ثم نوع هو القديم ليس مثل الحديد أو ssd m2 و لا أنكر أن هو سريع و أنصح ب سحب المنتج و أستبدل هو ب إصدار هارديسك موديل جديد 4tb

It's fast. I had no trouble installing it, though I did have an issue getting it to register, but only because I forgot to set it up in my BIOS. Transfer rate is excellent (especially considering it's a standard HDD, not an SSD). I would buy it again, although I'll probably never need that much storage again.

I am using it for more than a year in a 24/7 server with no issues. The machine is much more responsive than with the 2 TB 5400 RPM drive. The drive is almost always at 90% capacity and seek operations are quite good across the entire platters.

A very good product, being both quiet and fast. Also this product is competitively priced at AUD$24.82 per Terra Byte (delivered), which also helped influence the decision to purchase The only downside was a late delivery on the product, arriving almost one week after the expected delivery date
