Blue Microphones Yeti Pro with Radius III Shockmount and Compass Boom Arm

I bought this as a bundle so I'll leave my review of both items as I've done before: Shock mount: Bought this with the official Blue arm and it fit perfectly. It fit with my blue yeti microphone without any problems and it holds it up like a champ. I use it to record voice over and I have noticed a disappearance of noises whenever I bumped my desk, so it works and my audio now sounds clearer. I'd say that after seeing the improvements in audio and for the price, it's worth it. Mic Arm: after years of using it, it hasn't failed me yet. It holds my microphone perfectly in place. There's no noise when moving around and it smoothly swivels to where I want it to be and stays there. I do recommend to tighten it as much as you can, so the mic arm doesn't just lift up when using. This combined with the Shock mount, made a perfect pair. Do keep in mind that the arm has a cable rout that holds the cable with plastic clips that if forced, can break, so be careful with that.

I gave this setup as a gift to my brother. It was exactly what he wanted to continue building his streaming setup.

The mic and the shock mount are excellent, but the boom arm is 1,000% garbage and you should avoid it. The elbow points don't lockup and the arm moves on it's own under spring tension no matter how hard you tighten them. Eventually the plastic breaks or strips from trying to keep it in one definitive place. Other arms are far superior to this. I would just buy a cheap $40 Chinesium copy of the Rode arm or something else over this arm.

Very useful day to day of a streamer, youtuber, or if you do podcast. Made to last with quality materials like aluminum.

It’s been over a year and still happy with my purchase! Glad I purchased this and have no regrets!
