Does the color of the coil make a difference.

Make and Model are the important factors. Color in this case is marketing to the best of my knowledge. Some companies may distinguish their lines of differing quality by color, but I have never known it to matter. I used these in my Mercury and it runs great. Replaced black with the green and she is a running machine.
