i notice that some of these say emergency and some some permanent... does colby make the XL in permanent? preferably in short?

im using the ones i bought as a permanent fix in tractor tires .they seem to be doing a great job.

Yes, it is a bigger core valve at the base, intended for use on industrial and agricultural wheels. It uses a standard size air chuck.

I noticed on the instructions it says to air up the tire. Can you put fluid for tractor tires through this valve?

Our XL is not a true air/liquid valve stem, but yes you can remove the schrader core to allow pumping in liquid, and then reinstall the core.

Support the vehicle or equipment safety. Cut off old valve stem. Sand wheel smooth if necessary and paint. Install new stem and tighten with wrench, snugly, don't overtighten ! Fill with air, done.
