IT WORKS!!!!
Easy to use. Just push it into the dirt around the base of the plant. You can even break them in half and space them out around one plant. Watch your roses bloom and blossom! My climbing roses had been slow going and after 3 years had not reached the top of the arched trellis. After using these spikes ... roses have grown up over the top of the trellis and blooming like crazy!!! November in No. Calif and I have roses blooming!! Amazing. My gardener now uses them too with his other clients!

Nice roses
Nice and good big roses , small rose plant growing now. Big dark bright full awesome colors of roses. I also mixed bio-advanced but after this spike growth is awesome, bio advance don’t help any on other insects, I stopped that fertilizer and now only using jobes spikes. I used monthly 2 spikes to my each normal rose plant for best result. If plant is bigger like in my image using 3 spikes. Ordered 4 packs more recently.

Follow directions for terrific results
NB: I've read the negative reviews and suspect some folks are overfeeding while others are not placing the spikes in an appropriate place. In addition, I would not use these (quite large) spikes in containers, but would use small, flowering plant spikes or just use regular granular rose food. More info: My roses are planted in sand and are watered through flood irrigation. Regular rose food would wash away during irrigation. These spikes work great and have made my roses the envy of the neighborhood for 20 years. Tips: Use the number recommended on the package based on the size of your bush, place the spikes halfway between the center of the bush and the edge of the bush, and drive them into the ground. (If a root blocks the spike, try a slightly different location.) Space the spikes evenly around the circumference of the bush. The spikes will feed your roses wonderfully for three months at least. Remember not to feed prior to dormancy.

Easy to use.
Purchased these for hybrid tea roses and they were pretty easy to use. There is a little piece of plastic in the bag (that I didn’t find until almost done) that helps with putting them in the ground. That piece really helps the process along. If you have hard dirt or clay dirt then I’d put them in the ground after it rained. I gave it 4 stars only because I really can’t say if they’ve helped my roses just yet. It was cool here until about 2 weeks ago, but if they are helping then I will order them again.

Excellent and Convenient Product
If I had all the time in the world to take care of my roses, I would probably experiment with different combinations of specialty rose fertilizers and track the results to get optimum growth. However, I have a full-time job and need whatever time I have for roses to prune, water and spray against bugs and diseases. As a time saving measure I tried these spikes a number of years ago and have been extremely pleased. They are fast convenient and produce excellent results with good size blooms all season. My only gripe is that there are only ten per bag which is not good for more than three plants. A larger size would be more convenient.

JOBES has been around Forever!👍👍👍
I've never used these Jobes spikes till a week ago. I cannot really rate yet. My Great Grandfather used Jobes on his prized Rose's. Back then it was granular in a bag. I'm sure I will be purchasing again, they are so easy to spade a little place at least 12" out from your Rose, stick your spike in there & cover over. My mother used Jobes on her Rose's too, and other Jobes products. Spikes & bagged on different things. BE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! UPDATE! I've been using these Jobes Rose Spikes and I have to say, WOW! They took my 30+ year rose bushes back to full & beautiful! I ordered the Tomatoe also. I'm totally satisfied for sure. Ordering more Jobe's Rose now for Fall application to help through Winter.

Pure Magic!
This is the best fertilizer I have used for my roses. I read some review where they said if you fertilize at the right time, the roses will come out much bigger....they were 100 percent correct. Also one of my roses had almost died because it had a sprinkler leak right underneath it, we fixed the leak and these fertilizer sticks helped us revive the plant. It is coming back beautifully this year.

This version isn't as solid as the previous one
I just received a couple of bags of these. They are coded 'PCH-04102.4, 06/20', whereas the one I just finished was 'PCH-04102.3, 06/19'. Never had a single issue with the old ones. But every spike I drove in today broke off at the top as I was pounding them in. Not only that, but the other bag (that I haven't opened yet) clearly has a lot of debris in it (you can hear it when moving the bag. I assume one or more of the spikes disintegrated. Not great.
