ATA HOBBY DUMBORC X6 2.4GHz 6CH RC Radio Transmitter and Receiver X6FG(Built-in Gyro) with Fail-Safe & Low Voltage Alarm Function for Rc Vehicle Car Boat Tank Model Parts Remote Controller

I purchased this transmitter and receiver to replace the 4 channel Dumbo (Cross RC branded) transmitter and receiver in My Cross RC NT-4 Unimog RTR because it would randomly stop running for about 1 to 2 seconds, every 5 minutes or so. This was out of the box issue, of which I knew about before hand. It was basically a plug and play job, but I did have to set the end points on channel 3 for the high and low gears. This also was easy. Everything that You need to know is in the included instructions booklet. I have NO more issues with My rig cutting out. Dumbo make so pretty good devices in My opinion, and this is the only out of the box problem with a factory issued Dumbo set that I have ever encountered. I would recommend this 6 channel set-up! It is very responsive and has excellent range for crawlers.

This is my second dumbo and I love it! Great range, response and easy to use. The gyro is exceptional and is fun to play with for hole shots or just running laps.

I got the six channel with the Gyro and the programming card. I’ve had a car with the gyro in it before, and this one works exactly the same way. The only problem I had was the drive motor ran backwards after installation. I thought the solution was to flip the switch on the controller to reverse the throttle. The problem is that this action also moved the brake feature as well. In other words, I only had brakes in reverse. I Think other people were having this problem, but they just didn’t realize what had happened when they flipped the switch. My solution was to swap 2 wires on the motor so that ran into a different direction without changing the controller. Brushless motor was three phase so swapping any two wires reversed it. I have run the car twice now on the track and had zero problems with the control controller. A lot of people said the switch broke on the receiver, but mine seems to be OK. I read the other reviews and it was careful not to press it too hard.

I should have taken a picture, but I have a Traxxas stampede that I put this in and it works sooooooo dang good!!! The gyro is awesome, and the transmitter is fantastic! So much better than what traxxas gives you. Easy to install, remember, port 1 is for turning, port 2 is for burning (throttle)

Very nice feeling transmitter and the gyro is easy to use. I would prefer the controls for the gyro on the transmitter though.

This thing has exceeded my expectations. You get 6 channels a well laid out button system, and even a lanyard (its the little things for me) I use mine for my axial scx10iii jlu. I run a winch, and multiple light channels. This thing has handled it well so far.

Works great on my Gorgon conversion, and for the price you cant beat it! Multiple battery options, and gyro can be adjusted on the fly.

I have an OG Traxxas and I get to use it again, easy install. 100% satisfied!!

Second one i have bought very pleased with the first one so i bought another for radio control boat.

Great budget receiver, steering spring could do with a little more tension on the spring to give the user a bit more feedback, but that’s being hyper critical. (I’ve bought another 3 dumbo rc set ups since so It’s not bothered me that much)
