The Best Furniture Oil even repairs scratches is Old English Furniture Polish
Old English Furniture Polish is a very old Classic Furniture Oil that I highly recommend to all who have real wood furniture. It is the best Furniture Oil ever made, as best as I can tell.

Definitely cleans and shines
What it does: makes wood shinier, cleaner and smoother than before. My oak desk definitely looks newer now. The longer you leave it on, the darker the wood gets. It cleans better than just a wet cloth would. What it doesn't do: 1. It doesn't clean stains as advertised. My desk still has water stains and some other stain (I can't recall what it was from). I took off a star for that reason. 2. It doesn't cover up scratches or dents. But it's not supposed to anyway. They have other well-reviewed products for that. Wish I'd done some research. What it maybe does: protect my desk from future damage? Only time will tell. For now, I'm satisfied. Tip: I used an n95 because it has a strong odor (not unpleasant but chemical) and left the room after to avoid breathing it in.
