I originally bought this in case I needed to remove some of my closed-loop helix jewelry while on a trip. It wasn't used on the trip, but I have used it when other jewelry balls have gotten stuck or essentially glued shut from infection or a bad reaction. The locking mechanism is great, and I don't have to worry about dropping the end of the jewelry. The cost was absolutely worth it, and it is super easy to learn how to use these. I am not a piercer, but I have received many piercings and I have learned how to use them. The material makes me feel safe when using them, knowing that my skin will not react, and they are easy to clean and disinfect between uses.

My rook loop jewelry was stuck. My ear is getting infected and I couldn't get it out. I tried on and off all day yesterday, at least 20 times. I ordered this last night, it arrived this morning, sanitized and it popped the jewelery out in 3 seconds. THE RELIEF. As for the people saying it doesn't work when the jewelry is in, you'd be fine if you knew the size of your jewelry 😆😂

Honestly everyone should have one of these if they have a piercing. It makes it so much easier to take out any jewelry or put more in. It's super affordable yet very sturdy, and helps ensure that any jewelry put in stays in.

I like how easy it is to use but the quality of the grip is not that good because sometimes it slips, the size is nice because is not to big so you can just pop it in your purse or handbag. It is durable if you take care of it.

These are nice tweezers, but I wish that the clamping mechanism could be more stable. When I was trying to pierce my lobes, I found it quite hard to apply consistent pressure on the tweezers while also inserting the needle into them. Aside from that, I do think that they're worth the money, the little circle where the needle is supposed to go through is for sure big enough, and it works, albeit with a little bit of fussing.

This little gadget is remarkable when attempting to change out cartilage piercings with a ball in the back that you are unable to hold onto to attach it to the earring. Works amazingly without any issues!! It held onto the ball and I was able to screw it to the back of the earring with ease. I highly recommend if you change out cartilage piercings frequently!

Qualifications for my judgement-I have a lot of ear piercings to test this on. Good Idea, but product itself was faulty and badly made. Simple: -Jaws when closed should have a perfectly circular opening to hold the earring ball, or other piercing - these came together off-center in more of an "S" shape -Opening which holds the ball /piercing was roughly cut, so it damaged and scratched my earring These were returned.
