I've been using this product for a few years now and it's perfect. The taste is pretty good compared to other drinks like this. I tend to go for this brand because it's offers higher calories with a good amount of protein. I work early mornings so I don't have an appetite and I feel nauseous if I try to eat but the Boost shakes have been great for helping me avoid this

These high-calorie drinks have really been a lifesaver. My husband enjoys the rich chocolate flavor, and they provide him with all the protein, vitamins, and minerals he needs for his regular diet. They are not clumpy and become smooth and creamy when you shake them up. They have 13g of added sugar, so they may not work for everyone. Although he's lactose intolerant, the ingredients don't upset his stomach or cause diarrhea. He drinks three to four of these a day, so the extra calories are a crucial part of his diet. I subscribe regularly, but I often have to order some bottles in between deliveries because he sometimes drinks more than I expect. Fortunately, that's not an issue—if I place my order by midnight, it arrives well-packaged and on time the next morning, based on when I ordered the night before.

I buy this boost for my mother, it is 530 cal. She likes the rich chocolate flavor the best and says it is absolutely delicious. She has not gained any weight but has maintained her current weight, which is better than losing weight

This is probably the most calorie dense drink out there. It packs 530 calories into 8 fl oz (237mL). It's certainly will make you feel full having essentially the same amount of calories as a full, hearty meal. The liquid itself is viscous. Probably more viscous than any other liquid you might conceivably consume. It also seems to have quite the assortment of vitamins in it, which is quite nice for supplementing your diet. This is especially true if the majority of what you consume is this drink as you would otherwise be depriving yourself of necessary vitamins and nutrients. So, speaking of the benefits, overall, I would say that it's quite satiating and does what it sets out to do. Now, that does come at a cost. At just over $50USD(at the time of writing this review, it's quite expensive. If you're like me, then your relatively light diet has been quite affordable, so this is quite the increase in my foodstuffs purchases. Secondly, it is absolutely vile. It tastes as if you're drinking cooking oil that had a chocolate bar sitting in it. I have to hold my breath while I drink it after which I chase it down with another beverage and then something to cleanse my palate. I repeat this about 2 or 3 more times before I finish it. It would not be an exaggeration to say that I have an easier time drinking liquor than drinking this. Though I suppose there is no way to squeeze 530 calories into this volume of liquid and have it taste good, so you gotta take the good with the bad. Overall, it's calorie dense, filling, and has a lot of vitamins, but the taste is offensive at best and drinking it down is a process thanks to its thick composition.

My Dad loves this. He is in dialysis twice a week and this really makes him feel better. It’s name is very appropriate because it actually does give him a boost. be sure to shake it good before you drink it because it’s thick.

Great as a weight gain method. My husband lost his taste over 2 years ago and was steadily losing weight. This product with 530 calories is a great additive to his smoothies along with other items. He has started gaining much needed weight.

BOOST Very High Calorie Nutritional Drink, you've saved my life! I've always been quite small, in both stature and weight. However, I've wanted to gain weight for a long time. I've tried various forms of bulking with mass gainer powders, absolutely packing my plates with food, and more. They worked quickly, but the results were temporary. The massive positive with these shakes, is that simply drinking one a day in addition to my diet, has allowed for steady weight gain. At my most recent doctor's appointment to address some other health concerns I was having, I weighed 4-5 pounds more than what I was the previous few weeks. Sounds small, but this time it is actually sustainable. Not to mention all the great ingredients began to show up a little in my tests. I find it easy to drink, I enjoy the slightly thick texture, lol. But if that is off-putting, pouring it into a cup with some ice cubes should do the trick. I drink it room temperature or cold and it doesn't make me feel sick at all. Just ordered another pack in another flavor to test out !!

My husband has weight loss due to cancer. These offer high calories which is great but he can rarely drink a whole one due to a strong metallic aftertaste. Ive even mixed 50/50 with milk and the aftertaste is terrible. But if a person can tolerate that, it's a great option for adding 530 calories to the diet
