These scales are pretty incredible. I've used these scales for the past 4 holidays i've been on and they have been an absolute life saver! The scales them selves are actually quite accurate, for suitcases weighing 10kg, it was spot on, for suitcase weight 22kg it was about 0.15kg out according to the weighing scales at the airport, although i wouldn't be surprised if it was the scales at the airpot that are slightly over estimating the weight. The most important thing to do with these scales is to ensure that the what ever your about to weigh that you make sure you tare the (set to 0kg) before you use, otherwise you'll get inaccurate results. Due to the lightweight of the scales and the size of them, you can easily squeeze it into some luggage or even stick in your suitcase at the end as they barely weigh anything. Very easy to use, I didn’t need to read instructions to use it right out of the box, and when I later read them I was pleased to see the other things it did, such as the backlight of/off facility for battery life extension. The display is very clear. When weighing the scales settle on the weight when the item hanging is stable, but I find it locks a little too quickly and I would like to be able to adjust the load for some reason, not having enough time means that sometimes have to reset it and repeat. Having said that, if weighing a very heavy item, such as a suitcase, locking quickly is advantageous. It has been very accurate for what I have used it for so far, and I have checked it against a set of calibration weights weighing 50g, 200g and 500g. Of course, not really being designed for such small weights as these I was delighted to discover that both 200g and 500g weights were accurately weighed and even the 50g was only out by a negligible amount, I forget what it was but it was about the same as my kitchen scales. I like that it uses two AAA batteries rather than the button cell of many others because it is quick and not in the least bit fiddly to change them, they can be removed if not in regular use to save battery life and safeguard the device should any batteries used leak and go rusty, but the biggest positive regarding batteries is that almost every shop, garage and friend (and my cupboard) will most likely have these available if they run out unexpectedly.

Lightweight and invaluable for travelling

Needed to be able to weigh up to 35kg, this fitted the bill and seems accurate when compared with what the airport weighs the same item at. Doesn't feel particularly well made but robust so far, no problems

...nicht am Halsband, keine Sorge, nur in der Transportbox. ;o) Die Messgenauigkeit ist wohl OK, habe ein 1000g Testgewicht angehangen, natürlich gibt es kleine Schwankungen im Bereich von ca. +- 5g, wenn man etwas wackelig ist. Bei 5 Versuchen waren aber sicher 2 dabei wo ich auf meine 1000g kam. Ich bin zufrieden, meine Katze eher weniger, sie muss auf Diat. :o(
