So for those of you worried/wondering whether this fan will be able to fit in your laptop, go to HP part surfer and type in your laptop and check if the fan in your laptop is L18458-001. This is a pretty common part and this product fit my laptop even though it wasn’t officially listed on as the supported model. With compatibility out of the way, let’s talk about the product itself. I personally bought this fan because the stock one on my omen started to rattle like the video I posted(that’s before the replacement). Knowing there certainly was an issue with one of the fans(you can figure this out by turning the laptop off, carefully opening the back and seeing whether the rattling starts/stops when a fan runs/stops or try unplugging one of them). So all I had to do was just replace the faulty fan when it arrived. The fan itself is high quality. Like one of the other customer wrote on their review, it certainly feels better than the other cheap fans out there(this costs similar to the replacement fan you could order off the hp website but I did not have faith in the part that broke on 6 months of regular usage so i decided to go with this) and felt sturdier than the stock fan. So now it works like a charm and is quite like its new. As for the thermal paste they mentioned, don’t expect much. They are branded as “GD66” and presumably chinese make and just a very cheap thermal. But hey it’s a nice gesture. Overall, it was a lifesaver for me because as a poor college student, I did not have the money to take this in for a repair and my warranty expired two months ago so I had to figure all this out and it turned out to be great. If you are sure about what’s broken, just buy yourself a tool kit, parts and fix it yourself. As long as you take your time, research, and don’t put too much force into it, you can’t go wrong.

Honestly you really can't say much else besides them being great replacement fans. Super easy to install and they actually run quieter than when I first got the laptop lol. Also they maintain better airflow compare to the original parts.

Bought these in October 2024, by March 2025 they have both stopped working and make a horrible noise if I turn the laptop on. Fans should last longer than 5 months!

I went with this one since most of the other ones on Amazon seemed the same but this one supposedly had a stronger build. I like this one since it has a ring on top of the blades keeping them leveled. This is great since my other ones ended up rattling and probably due to individual blades bending out of place. The fan is rattle free and works well with my 15-AX200 Laptop Omen. The downside with this is the price, you're paying $20 while others are sold for $10 or less. You can't open it up if you need to clean the dust off or lube it in the future, and I've seen fans for other laptops have this. The thickness of the blades were near identical to my factory ones, and someone mentioned how it was so, but not for me. However, as mentioned before, they do have it designed with a ring on top of the blades so it keeps it leveled. Will try the cheaper ones on the market for my other fan replacement, but this one was well made/designed. Not worth paying twice the price though, at least from what I know right now.

I bought 2 fans for my laptop and both were easy to install and work great. I can't hear them like the old ones that were wearing down.

I have a 15" HP Omen, and I kept getting a fan error on bootup. It has two fans (both cooling the combined heat pipe from the Skylake i7 and 960m gpu), and I replaced both without any issues. No error anymore. If anything it runs quieter.

As the title said, it just works. The quality is solid, no doubt it will last several years until I decide to upgrade, and probably beyond when I give it somebody else. Would've preferred if I could open it up and lube it myself, but, hey, can't get all the pros. Price is a little steep, but you get what you pay for. I recommend this product.

The replacement fit perfectly for hp omen 15 ax203. Good shipping times to Italy. The fan is a bit more noisy then original.
