Fantastic item, saves you hours and hours of hard ...
Fantastic item, saves you hours and hours of hard labour, although these graters are repeated with different fittings from your processor, the only different ones are the chip slicer's and you get a wider slicer for your vegetables which you already have a slicer on the reverse of one supplied with the processor, this works a lot quicker and by putting a big bowl under you can soon fill it, if you want it for making chutney you still need another attachment the dicer, which I feel is a bit of Cheat another £78.00, so I bought a used Dicing kit for my magi mix instead. I have used it a few times already and I do recommend it, but be aware you need storage space it is a large piece of kit. Also has 7 graters. I found mine for a good price in Amazon Warehouse deals so I am very happy with my purchase.

Easier, cleaner, more time
I have never in my 30 years of owning a Kenwood Mixer purchased this or any other additional attachments beside a meat attachment. I got this as part of the promotion Kenwood were running where you buy a kenwood before December and select free attachment. I can say this item is better than the moulinex and nut grinders which I have and are now in storage. I have many handheld alternates which I am so glad I can retire them until the next 30 years (dont want to jinx my Kenwood) Wouldn't buy if I had to pay for them because I already have handheld alternatives. Pros: easier, faster, easier to clean, more time to do other things. Used for onions, carrots, cheese and nuts. Cons: expensive if your buying more than 1 attachment. You can easily spend over £200 If your buying the attachments. Top tip: check the promotions on Kenwood UK Website. See what periods they run good promotions usually round end of year. Check on Amazon too it might allow you to select the promotional item instead of waiting for Kenwood to approve and send within 28 days. Update - 02/02/2017 (broker on first use) The number 2 disk doesn't click in and stays open which causes carrots to fly out from the back however the number 6 disk didnt have any issues. Ive had to arrange a replacement through amazon. Not a good start to be honest.

Works as described!
This is a very useful product in the kitchen. It works as described and the 7 included blades give you many options. It makes it really fast and easy to chop/grate ingredients and really speeds things up when preparing a meal. The only negative thing for me is that after you are done you have a lot of parts to wash, and it is quite big so it takes up some space when put away. But other than that it does the job so I am happy with the purchase.

A serious piece of equipment most suited for cooking bigger quantities.
This is a serious piece of catering equipment and not really suitable for just grating the cheese for an omelette or a small quantity of anything. What it does brilliantly, and I cannot stress enough how brilliant it is, is slice, grate etc etc large quantities of food effortlessly. I always keep sliced onions or grated cheese in the freezer for instant use. Anything that I may use in quantity is frozen after using this attachment. It is easy to assemble after the first time. I found it stiff to start with. Anything made by Kenwood is a quality item. My actual mixer that I bought this attachment for is thirty years old and still working brilliantly. I marked down on ease of cleaning because it's an assembly and disassembly job and not done in five seconds.

QUICK, CLEAN & EFFICIENT.
I have owned this product for about a month now and have used it almost every day. It is easy to assemble and is quick, clean and efficient in use. The separate parts only need a quick rinse under the cold tap to remove all food residue. I am using with a Kenwood KM201 which I bought about 40 years ago. I have arthritis in my hands and find using a knife painful, but this machine does all that I need in a quarter of the time. I fully recommend it.

Superb bit of kit.
A brilliant bit of kit that allows me to prepare a coleslaw (white cabbage [fine sliced], carrot, sweet potato, [coarse shredded] jalapeño chilli and red onion [fine shredded]) for friends and family without having to keep emptying a tiny bowl. The "chipper" and "fine chipper" were a disappointment UNTIL I slowed down the revolutions and used them at a speed that gave the potatoes, carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes etc time to fall into place and be cut properly. I thought that it was easy to wash clean and dry and can only presume that customers who thought it to be "fiddly" and "difficult to clean" haven't used some of the other shredder/slicers on the market. I am delighted with the product and sincerely hope that it is durable.

Good for a big job but not for everyday cooking
I was waiting to buy this for a long while - and Amazon had a great price. So I snatched it up immediately. I wanted it to reduce the limited cooking time I have when I come back from work and chopping is the task that I love the least next only to the washing. It comes with seven plates for : standard chip, fine chip, extra fine shredding, fine slicing, coarse slicing, fine slicing and coarse shredding. I really want to love this but while it does do its job nice and uniform, it is not suitable for our everyday cooking for two as the fitting and washing would be more time consuming than the actual cutting. What I like: If I were to make multiple dishes - say have to chop the veggies for soup, curries, salad in bulk, then this is very easy to use and gets all the veggies chopped in an instant. What I dont like: There seems to be a lot of small parts, so it is a bit cumbersome in that it would take even more time to wash these than the actual chopping Cleaning, even immediately can be a bit fiddly as veggies get trapped in corners and crevices. So have to get the knife out to remove those, which is far from ideal. There are many attachements, which is a good thing, but storage is very tricky as I already have run out of space for the original Kenwood Mixer included attachments apart from the extras. The extension chute kept falling down repeated during the operation The veggies were sprayed over my kitchen top away from the big container. And I had to try and hold the bowl in one hand while dropping down the veggies with the other. Also the food ejection paddle feels a bit flimsy.
