Tricky to install, but do a superb job
Check you have sufficient height under any worktop as these will raise the height of your machine. I don't understand how people have said they don't work. We have a 200 year old 3-storey converted mill. The floors are supported by huge oak beams. We've put our Miele washing machine on the top floor and the vibration through the property was immense. We've since relaid the floorboards and glued/screwed a second layer of 22mm tongue & groove floorboards on top, followed by bonded 20mm solid oak flooring. This has stiffened things up nicely and resolved 90% of the vibrations we could feel throughout the property when it was on spin. However, with a sloping floor (about 10mm every metre), the washing machine was wandering around. I bought these to stop it moving, which they do perfectly. They also get rid of the remaining vibration and noise, so the machine is virtually silent. You now only hear it spin off if you're in the room with it or in the room directly below. If they don't work, you need to look more closely at your washing machine installation as there's likely to be an underlying issue. Ensure the floor it's on is solid, not just directly underneath the machine, but throughout the room/building. Ensure the feet are correctly adjusted on your machine too and it's sitting level. Yes, they are awkward to install, but well worth it. So much so, I've bought a second set for our tumble drier.

Not perfect but very good.
My washing machine is on a wooden floor in the kitchen. The fridge is next to it. When the WM spins you used to be able to feel it all over the house. Also the fridge would vibrate like crazy. You could hear items inside rattling. Also anything on top of the fridge was likely to fall off. I bought quite an expensive runner shock-absorbing mat. Problem was it was impossible to push the WM back under the worktop on top of the mat - there was enough height to fit under, but its feet dug into the rubber. I bought these (for much less). Placed the WM feet into these FIRST. Then using some washing up liquid as lubricant, it was pretty easy to slide under the worktop. Because they are cupped, the WM feet did not escape as I pushed. They reduced the vibration by about 80-90%. Then I cut up some pieces of foam rubber swimming noodle and squeezed them between worktop & top of WM to dampen remaining vibration. This gave another improvement. Next idea was to put the foam mat down the side of the fridge - another improvement. Finally I bought another set of these rubber feet to put under the fridge. This was the final piece of the equation. I would say we have now eliminated about 99% of the vibration.

works well, but try the Mat combi
Good vibrations ? NO Open plan living is nice but what do you do with the washing machine in a semi-detached with open plan ? build an outside utility – done ! but awaiting doors. Anyway… the old kitchen / Utility is now exposed with open-plan living. The old AEG died with vibrations due to a bad 30s floor, so went for another expensive 9kg WM as a replacement, sadly that too was vibrating even after fixing the floor. The only solution (as a last resort) is to pour concrete down into a box and put an 18 mm concrete slab to match the floor boards. Whilst we were deciding all that the worktops went in and the new expensive machine did not fit under. So we went for a cheap 450mm deep Indesit, lighter but also shaking… wtf !! Before pouring a concrete slab, I bought 4 rubber feet, they are solid things and they worked to dampen the vibrations sitting on tiles, but the bad vibrations were still there, so bought the 6mm mat as well. The combinations WORKS !! 99 % of the vibrations are gone, I am sure some noise is gone as well as the mat is 60x60 and acts as a sound buffer. If you can, pour a concrete slab with DPC membrane etc but if the floor is down try the mat & feet combination, buy them separately in case you need to return one or the other them. 5* to both. The mat could be 8mm and cheaper but you pay for Prime shipping and VAT. Btw: learnt the hard way, don’t buy an expensive 9kg machine if you have a small household or do yoga daily, the big WMs require a full load otherwise there is load imbalance.

Partially successful
I have found it to be partially successful. Whilst the washing machine still moves a bit, it doesn’t bounce about as much.

Great product
Very pleased with this purchase. We have a wooden floor and our washing machine used to vibrate on maximum spin despite trying to level the feet. This has almost stopped all of the vibration and it is so much quieter than before. With the door closed on the utility room you can hardly hear an noise at all. I'm sure this will protect both the floor and washing machine. Well worth it!

Didn't think it would work that well
My washing machine is in a location that doesn't give it a lot of space to move around. As a result it used to bash against the sides of the cabinets and shake the kitchen counters. I bought these rubber feet because of the great reviews left by other users. Fortunately it stood up to the test and worked better than expected. By elevating the washing machine, it has more room to vibrate, and the rubber pads produce more grip to remove the issue of moving washing machine during the spin cycle. I have also noticed that it tends to stop the washing machine from vibrating its surroundings as much as it used to. It is most likely down to the vibration absorbing rubber material that takes the shock from the washing machine, rather than directly bounced into the floor. I have to say though, installation wasn't exactly a breeze for tight spot washing machines. Once you install the feet, it is hard to move or push as the washing machine will just push off the feet. You also can't really lift the washing machine and put the back feet in place as it'll be too heavy. the solution is really to put the the back feet on first, then slowly push the machine back into place, and then put the front feet on. This was the only way i could get it into position onto its feet.
