Great stuff. A real back saver and it WORKS!
This stuff is awesome if you have new flower beds where grass used to be. You can spray it on pretty much any plant and it will kill any grass that is growing there but it won’t hurt the plant unless it too is a grass, there is a long list of plants on the label. You also need to buy Their herbicide helper (surfactant/spreader sticker). Our landscaper said he just adds a little dish detergent but I wasn’t sure so I got the helper. The first time I sprayed Grass Getter I had overlooked the need for the surfactant. It still worked but there is a bit of grass here and there, that could just be because it is Bermuda grass which is basically a vine and is hard to completely kill anyway. I’ll be buying more. This stuff has saved me a TON of back bending work!

Does the job
It took about 2 weeks and mildly affected the Mexican sage I was trying to clear of grass but the grass is gone. On clumps of grass in the open the effect was obvious.

Worked well on most but not all grasses
I found it was easy to mix using the instructions. I put it onto one of those pump spray bottles because I have a large garden to cover. After a few weeks, the more aggressive "weed" types of grasses had yellowed and then died. No success on the "lawn" types of grasses that had spread into the garden beds. This didn't surprise me because I had no luck years ago using Grass-B-Gone on those either. But I'm relieved that I was able to get most of the weed grasses out of my ground covers and other places where it would be extremely difficult to manually pull them. Didn't see any damage to other plants.

Yep, it works really well!
I owe someone an apology.. i was mad and thought they were insane to charge me so much for such a small bottle. I did not realize at the time it was a concentrate. I went ahead and tried it. Spraying the grass in a thick bed of ground cover, i figured it wasn't making it to the roots, and I'd have to come back and spray it again. But no, one dose and the grass was indeed dead. Took a week or so, but it was dead, and all my ground cover was still in great shape, like I'd hoped for. I just wish the product came with instructions. If they were on that little sticker on the back, they were too small to read. I looked the instructions up online to use it. But, again.. it is super effective.

DID NOT KILL GRASS, BUT DID KILL MY IRISES
Garbage. Did NOT kill weed grasses but it killed allnof my surrounding bearded iris ! Called company but they did nothing but said they passed the information to their quality control science dept. Bull. They told me b4 purchase it would not harm iris. They lie and are irresponsible. Overpriced garbage.

Needs many applications
I was desperate to rid my mom's flower beds of the grass that was taking over the beds. I applied this grass killer for the first time and didn't see any change. On the second application I noticed that some of the grass was turning brown. The third application showed signs that the grass was indeed dying. I am determined to reapply until the grass is gone. To sum up, this product will kill the grass, but it takes many applications to do the job.

Killed grass- daylilies safe.
Effective product used to kill grass in my daylilies. Didn’t kill my daylilies but they’re not blooming as profusely this year. Maybe because flowerbeds were grassy or because I sprayed product while they were setting blooms? Not sure but great product that will be used again. I would recommend.

it takes awhile
the label states 1 oz in 1 gallon of water covers 1800 sq feet...so, a little goes a long way. My weedy grasses were tall & mature, so I applied at a heavier rate. I did repeat 3 wks later (the label recommends 2 wks) - it is starting to die - it will take up to 3 wks to kill the grass. I plan on using it much earlier next spring, as it kills less mature grass quicker. I feel it is a great value! It does not kill your flowers (or any broadleaf weed, for that matter)
