NAOEVO 18 Gauge Wire 2 Conductor Electrical Wire, 18 AWG Stranded PVC Cord, 12V Low Voltage/Tinned Copper/Flexible Cable for Automotive Wiring, Lamp Cord, Marine Cable (30FT)

I needed to add an additional zone to my irrigation system. Luckily, there was a main supply line with two valves near the area I needed an additional zone, but I needed 90 feet of wire to reach the area. I found a 100-foot roll of NAOEVO jacketed 18-2 multi-purpose wire which indicated it was acceptable for landscape lighting. Thus, it should be fine for irrigation system wiring which is often 20-gauge wire. Because of the length of run, I used 18-gauge wire. The description indicated it came with 56 “packs” of heat shrink tubes and 20 “packs” of cable ties (“packs” should be interpreted as pieces). As shown in my photos there was a bag of numerous short pieces of 3/16” heat shrink tubing (I didn’t count them but there was a good handful) and twenty 11-3/4" cable ties. I did not take any installation pictures because my hands were muddy during the entire process of installing the wire. I didn’t use either one in my application, but both were of good quality. Not mentioned, but included, were two Velcro cable wraps about 8 inches long with the NAOEVO name. The stranded wire itself is very flexible which was one characteristic I needed because I intended to push it into a small gap I opened between the edge of my grass and my foundation. It flexed easily as I pushed it into place with a 2-inch-wide piece of wood. The outer jacket of the wire is very smooth and made it easy to push the wire into the gap. Also, the outer jacket is tough (I had to install a new blade in my utility knife to cut it readily). The insulation on the inner conductors is thick, but my wife stripper made trimming that back easy. After installation, I performed a quick Ohmmeter test which confirmed that the wire was not damaged during installation (i.e., not open or shorted). A quick operational check of my irrigation timer also confirmed that the installation was good. Price was reasonable and was discounted when I purchased it. Overall, I’m completely satisfied with my purchase, but only time will tell if the wire lasts.

Very good quality and great price

Quality two-conductor 18 AWG choice. Easy to strip and work. Coiled tight with Velcro (or "hook-and-loop" for you trademark lawyer types) tie straps. Coiled so "purty" I want to order two more coils to use as book ends. More Velcro-type straps thrown in for cable management. Heat shrink tubing and zip ties, too. Packaged right. Well-done all around. I'm back days after receiving to order another spool. Great stuff.

Great cable. I used it to completely rewire the sound system on my Harley - front and rear. It's a very resilient and robust cable with the outer sheathing to with stand the vibrations on a big twin motorcycle, yet flexible enough to conform to the frame and withing the fairing. Vey happy.
