Holder may need to be bent into a better shape to make it easier to use. I did a poor job of conditioning the crucibles with flux and had a sticking issue with molten copper. (that's on me)

Surprisingly good
The quality, for the price, is honestly really, really good. Unlike the last set I bought on Amazon, the tongs are nicely finished, sturdy, and the rivet is well made, not allowing any flex while still being easy to operate. I prefer to use the tweezer-like ends when pouring, but the rounded portion seems to grip the crucible fairly well, if that’s how you like to do it. Comes with three crucibles, one for silver, gold and platinum (in my case) and I had no issues with using them straight out of the box, no heat treating needed, aside from a slightly slower melt on the first go (I do live in a very dry climate, though, so take that with a grain of salt). Very happy with this purchase.

Good Enough for Limited Usage
Metal prongs don’t fit the crucibles very well. Could be better. I was able to use them. If I had to use them more frequently, the tongs would be unacceptable.

Strong Clip
They hold up well to repeated heat with a torch. The clip had excellent grip. It was actually hard to unclamp to switch, but better it be firm than loose.

Hand for size
Just recieved these, I have not used them yet! So far I LOVE the tongs. I'm about to go melt some silver in my forge to cast so assuming all goes well, this post will remain the same and you can assume it is a great product. If not, the review will have been updated within an hour of this posting.

Poor packaging, one of the crucibles arrived cracked, the tongs are of better quality than I expected.
