if you are in the UK, don't buy this product. I bought it cos it closely resembled a weather station I had been using for years which has now worn out. Its manual is very basic. It slopes on the wall leaning towards the battery compartment. It wouldn't pick up time settings for over 20 minutes - I had to set it myself. When I set it myself it refused to take in British time clock setting changes. Nothing in the manual tells you what country codes relate to where - I did try the location settings. The display is slightly different to what is pictured - the Mon - Sun are in another language and not displayed as pictured. Can't trust this gadget's weather settings if it can't get my time zone or location right. Display is very light and airy. On good notes, this looks good as a table display. Don't buy it, you are wasting your time and unlike many I don't have the patience to go to the manufacturers website for answers if the makers can't be bothered to include a full manual with the product or directions on how to get one in every commonly used language such as ENGLISH!! 14th November addition I tried to get this item returned to my purchaser using Amazon's return service for a refund. Unfortunately I have had the misfortune of seeing them use DPD COURIER SERVICES - WHO ARE THE MOST IMCOMPETENT COURIER COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE HEART TO DEAL WITH!!! I told them more than 3 times my return item was in a safe easily found code padlockable place. They even acknowledged me once saying they would pass on my message to thier driver. 3 times they came and said I wasn't home. I give up. If you do decide to buy and find me right and want to return your item, learn from me unless you are home most times. I may get sued for this but in my opinion: DPD (or should I say D stupid D) don't listen.

The user manual is poor and it is not updated: 1 - setting up altitude does not work therefore the pressure value is not adjustable. Although described in the user manual, this procedure was deleted by the manufacturer. 2 - Time offset setup procedure (mandatory for time zones different from GMT+1) is not described in this manual. Not easy. 3 - Locations far away from Germany have no or have poor automatic setup due to signal limitations (not refered in the user manual that shoul specify boundaries for automatic synchronization to work) 4 - Manual time setting is overruled every synchronization and user manual does not teach how to avoid it.

The only thing I will say is take your time, the clock signal comes from Germany but you can off set it, the readings are correct from the outdoor sensors and the pressure guide is spot on. The website is a different matter the full manual is there but you need to dig, it's also in German so translate through Google. They also have tech support who are very fast to mail back. I would recommend.

The weather station is ok once set up and yes the time can be offset to have it the same as GMT. However when I had cause to e-mail Koch I didn't receive a reply, quite disappointed with them. This is not suitable for anyone buying their first weather station as most of it I did after owning a different make and model and therefore knew what I was looking for.

Zuerst das Unangenehme: Als ich das erste Gerät auspackte wies dies Kratzer auf, funktionierte aber einwandfrei. Also Reklamation und das Ersatzgerät bekam ich schon, bevor ich das alte weggeschickt hatte. Die Wetterstation selber erfüllt alle Ansprüche. Sie ist aus jedem Winkel gut ablesbar, die Daten sind gut und überschaubar angeordnet und auch von der Anordnung her logisch nachvollziehbar. Die komplette Bedienungsanleitung kann man sich aus dem Internet von dem Hersteller herunterladen. Die lebenslange Funktionsgarantie könnte man noch bezweifeln, aber wer weiß, vielleicht werde ich auch das eines Tages nachprüfen können. Wäre echt noch ein Sahnehäubchen wenn das auch funktioniert. Der Hersteller ist im übrigen deutsch, ob das Gerät dann im Auftrag im Ausland hergestellt wurde, ließ sich nicht nachprüfen. Die Weck- bzw. Alarmfunktionen sind mit einem ansteigenden Alarm "aufwachgerecht" gestaltet. Auch Alarme für bestimmte Temperaturen sind vorprogrammierbar. Einziges, wenn auch kleines Manko, die Vorhersagefunktion ist etwas undurchsichtig und haut auch nicht immer hin, da sie sich nach dem herrschenden Luftdruck richtet. Allerdings ist das bei allen Geräten mit dieser Art der Vorhersage so. Wer also Vorhersagen vom Wetterbericht will, muss eine Klasse höher einkaufen, wo die Daten per Funk übermittelt werden. Bei vorhandenem Internet und Fernsehen allerdings ein überflüssige und teure Zusatzleistung. Ich wollte ein Gerät, bei dem ich Sommers wie Winters einen sofortigen Überblick über die Wettersituation, die funkuhrgenaue Zeit und Datum sowie ein ansprechendes Äußeres mit einer guten Qualität haben. Und das habe ich für einen Preis bekommen, wo ich bei ansässigen Verkäufern (Mediamarkt, Saturn, Medimax und Co.) locker das doppelte bezahlt hätte.

Ottimo barometro ad un prezzo contenuto. Funziona bene. Le fasi lunari sono molto utili come la funzione che indica il calare e sorgere del sole. Purtoppo le istruzioni sono scarse. Però il sito, seppur in tedesco, contiene le istruzioni un po più dettagliate.

Les données du récepteur intérieur sont totalement fantaisistes, hygrométrie, température et pression atmosphérique ne correspondent pas à grand-chose. Pour le prix, on peut pardonner la qualité de fabrication modeste mais pas l'imprécision complète des données affichées. Dommage, il y a tout ce que je voulais: lune, marées, hygrométrie, température int et ext. Pression atmosphérique et historique, tout... Je ne parlerai même pas du mode d'emploi joint. Pour les germanophones, on peut trouver plus d'infos sur leur site. En conséquence, nous ne gardons pas.

El contraste de pantalla no es muy bueno, por lo que a cierta distancia no se puede leer correctamente. El rango del sensor exterior no es muy amplio. Actualmente lo tengo a unos 2 metros de la base y en ocasiones pierde contacto con el mismo. Por otro lado, en las instrucciones indica como configurar la altura, pero la base no responde como indican las instrucciones. De modo que no he podido configurarla. No recomendable
