this is my 2nd order for this silicon adhesive...
This is my 2nd order for this excellent adhesive. My review for my 1st tube of it is below this update. After finally finishing off my 1st tube that I had ordered, I was so happy with the product that I ordered two more tubes of it. The amount of adhesive inside the tubes is quite a lot and my 1st tube had stuck bathroom accessries to the tiles, including a shower hose holder and a shower caddy, it had sealed around almost 1/2 of my bathroom window and had filled a gap between a large bathroom mirror and the wall. So, I still recommend this sealant / adhesive as it really is a solution to may problems. Although the focus for this ashesive is outdoors, there are many indoor uses that silicon adhesive can be used as a glue, especially in kitchens and bathrooms. I bought this adhesive for a particular one off (hopefully) small job of sticking a shower head holer to bathroom tiles. There was a particular reason I chose the silicon product over others.... too many non silicon glues are useless in bathrooms. The shower head holder was a "no nails" one, so no tiles need to be drilled into (damaged). Every couple of weeks, it would come away from the wall, especially in the middle of the night when the walls cool down. So, there were only two choices, a good adhesive or the use of a drill and I opted for the adhesive. After reading some of the reviews, I bought and tried this product. I initially made an error and attached the shower hose immediately and only a few minutes later it came crashing down. So I simply put the head holder back on the wall without the shower hose attached, as the silicone was still fresh and left it for the recommended 24 hours. When checking it the following day, the holder was stuck firm and the shower head could then be reattached. The thing I like about silicon, in bathrooms is that silicon will make an airtight seal so no moisture can get behind it, whereas other adhesives, including those that come with products, allow moisture to pentrate and weaken. It's critical that any adhesive in a bathroom is moisture proof and this is. Some of the negative comments are around the "ease of use" yet I found this easy enough to use. The only thing I can assume for the negativity around ease of use is that the user cuts the nozzle to close to the top thus leaving only a tiny hole for the adhesive to flow through and / or they use it in cold conditions. Although I cut the nozzle close to exactly where I wanted to, the adhesive flowed with little effort. So, when 1st using this it is best to cut the nozzle close to the top and try it. If it's difficult to squeeze the adhesive through then make another cut further down and repeat until you have a good flow and use little effort to get it. I do recommend this product as it does do as described and can be used for many both indoors and outdoors jobs. It is a good sealant and a really good glue for places with high moisture levels (steamy kitchens and bathrooms). It will be good for making small repairs to window seals, both indoor and outdoor. It is easy to apply / use and is very strong when set. Pros - Easy to use strong value for money Cons - none that I have found, yet!

saves a nail!
This stuff is ideal for gluing down bird defender spikes. I particularly didn't want to use nails or screws because its a rubber membrane roof that would leak. A bit hard to get out the tube because its thick , but sticks well

Absolute rubbish
I bought this product after reading the reviews and thought it would be ideal for attaching trellis to a wall, how wrong was I. It was so hard to squeeze out the tube and once applied it didn't stick not even for a second, only to my fingers. I would not recommend this for using on walls as it doesn't seem to work and will be a waste of money.

Difficult to get out of the tube
I bought this adhesive as I didn't need the standard size silicone tube that needs an applicator. However, I found it very difficult to squeeze the tube hard enough to get the silicone out. The end of the tube seemed very hard, as if the silicone had already set. Otherwise the product is fine.

Seagulls No More!
Every year, seagulls come and nest on our chimney. Throughout that period, we get an early morning call at 4am. Well, enough is enough, so I bought some bird spikes and this tub of glue. Some reviewers has already said it was hard to get the paste out and it's true. Unless you have hands and strength like goaliath you will struggle. I used clamps to press and squeeze on the tub to push the paste out, worked like a charm. Hopefully, that's the last of the seagulls!

Applicator restricts flow badly but bond seems strong.
Used to re-fix the car wing mirror to the housing. Seems to have secured it well after 24 hrs outside. As others note difficult to squeeze out silicone when using the applicator supplied. Just left it off and spread from tube to back of mirror with no issues. I hope the heat from the de misting will not affect the final fix. Time will tell. 4 stars as using applicator is difficult/impossible, but it looks a strong seal. Update after 2 winter months mirror still strongly fixed in place. A success. Two years later doing other wing mirror (never happened on 20th century cars). Clamped for curing for 24 hrs at moment. Other wing mirror still firmly in place. Yes they are heated.

Refused to come out.
I used this product to fill up and mend a 3/4 inch crack. I chose the silicone type glue because of the flexibility. My problems started when I attempted to squeeze some out of the tube, it just would not come out. So after spending quite some time, and getting nowhere, I decided to use a big pair of pliers. I put a thick piece of leather on the tube first for protection, but alas the tube burst. However, this proved to be a "blessing in disguise". I now had access to the glue, and finished the job. Needless to say, that tube is no longer useable.
