I wouldn't normally spend this much on a lip product, but it was £50 in the sale so I thought I'd treat myself. I don't suffer with dry lips, or so I thought. I could feel the difference within a few hours, my lips felt softer. Within 24 hrs I noticed I was using less of my normal cheaper (£12 vitamin B, peptide) lip salve. It's now been a week and I'm down to using this twice perhaps 3x a day and I no longer use any other lip salve. My lips are smooth, supple and hydrated. I'm genuinely amazed at the difference as I honestly thought my lips were fine before - obviously not!

Color: Sable When I ordered this tinted lip compound, I didn't have a choice of color. But the rest of the product was something that I knew would work wonders on my dry lips, so I took a chance. So glad that I did. This is deeply hydrating for the lips. Hydrates quite well and lasts for a good, long time. Even holds up while eating a little better than many other lip conditioners. Seeps into the pores to help treat from top to bottom. Will also leave a healthy layer over the surface of your lips to keep them soft and kissable without those dry chunks of dead, peeling skin. Feels incredibly soothing. No taste of smell to this which I appreciate. I was concerned that I would not care for the color of the tint being so dark with my pale skin tones. It's a chocolately brown with tinges of a deep red wine color. It's actually a gorgeous color, but I just didn't think that it would work well for me. My intention was to just wear it around the house when I needed some extra conditioning on my lips. Was actually quite shocked that this turns out to look rather good on me. Though it's rich in color, it's also on the translucent side. Admittedly, though the rich moisturization holds out for a long time, the color really doesn't. It tends to settle and fade as it sinks into the lips. But that actually works better for me. It eventually becomes more of a neutral tint, but takes that deathly pale look out. Adds some life to my coloring, and even looks natural. Sometimes I like to blend this with my other lipsticks. Can be used as a base layer to treat the lips. In that case, let it sit for a good while before applying your lipstick. Also works great as a top layer to add somewhat of a glossy tint. Works best with a matte lipstick and will add some moisturization. All in all, this is an excellent lip tint treatment for all lip types.

U Beauty The Plasma applies like a lip gloss with a bit of cooling from the metal applicator. It glides on with a watercolor wash of glossy color that somehow brightened my brown undertone lips to a light peachy-pink without looking like a lip color, and kept my lips looking lovely as I did chores, ate snacks, drank water before falling asleep on the couch to a movie and waking in a puddle of drool (sorry, tmi)...I think the point is that when I woke to do my evening routine and tuck myself into my bed, my lips looked fresh and hydrated. The glossy sheen was gone, the tint was barely there, but my lips looked absolutely better than the slightly dry, needs a little love style they were rocking when I started the evening. I do like that this is the intersection of cosmetics and skincare done in a lovely way. If your lips tolerate, this can be applied regularly to improve the condition of your lips by gently exfoliating, locking hydrating factors to your lips, and also serving a little pretty.
