HealthA2Z Sleep Aid, Diphenhydramine Softgels, 50mg, Supports Deeper, Restful Sleeping (250 Counts)

I’ve purchased these a couple times now, and swear they are the best OTC sleep med I’ve tried. The only other thing that works for me is zolpidem, but I don’t like the side effects I typically experience from it. This stuff however offers me the same good sleep without any side effects, and has been reliable when I need it!

These are perfect. They are not too strong but strong enough to allow me to fall asleep nicely and sleep four at least 5 hours solidly. They also don't leave me groggy the next day like melatonin does. Also, they don't cause wild dreams like melatonin does for me. I feel they are gentle and effective. The price is awesome!

I grabbed HealthA2Z Sleep Aid (Diphenhydramine) after working night shifts for a while and my sleep schedule was completely wrecked. Trying to sleep during the day was terrible — I’d fall asleep for an hour, wake up, and repeat that cycle all day. I just needed something simple that would help me actually stay asleep. I’ve been using it at home after getting off a long overnight shift. Take one, black out the room, and try to reset. The speed surprised me the first time — it kicked in quicker than I expected and helped me drift off instead of laying there staring at the ceiling. What impressed me most was how long I stayed asleep. For the first time in a while I actually got a solid stretch of rest instead of waking up every hour. The tablet size is also easy to take — nothing huge or hard to swallow. There’s basically no weird smell, which I appreciate because some sleep meds have that chemical scent. Once it kicks in the overall feel is just calm and heavy-eyelid tired. As far as downsides, the only thing I noticed is a little grogginess if I take it too late before needing to get up. Not terrible, just something to keep in mind if you have a tight schedule. If you’re someone dealing with shift work, travel sleep issues, or random insomnia, this could help reset your routine. If you need something super light where you’ll wake up instantly refreshed, this might not be your thing since it does what it’s supposed to and keeps you asleep. For me though, it’s been the best sleep I’ve had in a while. The pain relief wasn’t a real big need, but it did fix the pain of not sleeping

I go through periods of either little sleep or extremely restless sleep where I wake up almost every hour to toss and turn. Like most, I tried many different supplements or OTC medication to help me get the rest I strongly needed. I have a high tolerance for meds/drugs so a lot of things that work for others do not work for me. Or they do the opposite of what they’re supposed to do and keep me up all night. Or worse, they let me sleep but I am a zombie the whole day. I decided to give this a try since the reviews were so good and I’m glad I did! I followed the advice of many reviewers and took a pill 30 or so minutes before actually getting in bed. I was out within an hour. Which is unheard of for me! I did notice that I began yawning about 20 minutes in and my eyes kept closing around 40 minutes in. I actually put away my phone since it was getting hard to focus when I typically stay alert for hours on other products. Then the tingles began! I don’t think I saw anyone mention this before, but my hands started to feel tingly. Like if they were falling asleep lol. Then that spread to other parts of my body like my feet and legs. I was confused but decided to not freak out and just let it happen. Next thing I know I woke up at 6am! I was in bed by 11 and usually can’t sleep or start to get tired until after 1 am. Then I would wake up at least 3 times before morning. So just STAYING asleep for the whole night was already enough to impress me. The tingly/numb feeling was still on my hands and arms, but they were gone completely after I got up and moving. I am on other medication so I’m going to do some research to make sure this isn’t a symptom of them counteracting each other. If it’s safe for me to continue taking them together then this will become my go to sleep aid! The tingles are a bit soothing to me (in the way that I know it’s working and I get excited) so if this is a symptom, then I don’t mind at all. It wouldn’t stop me from using these. If you’ve tried everything but don’t want to rely on prescribed sleep aids, definitely give these a try! Also, I noticed there were a lot of bad reviews because the pills arrived melted together. Which, yes, it’s annoying and frustrating, but that isn’t the fault of the product or brand. It’s the way they are stored or the heat during transit. I disregarded those reviews because they don’t talk about the effectiveness of the pills. I live in Texas and it’s the summer so I knew the chances of me getting melted pills was high but I took the risk and thankfully they were all good.

I’m only on day two of using this product, but so far I have had the best two nights of sleep in a very long time! I do have a bit of a hard time getting out of bed in the morning but that’s not uncommon for me, so I don’t know that the HealthA2Z are influencing that. Once I am up though, I do not feel groggy.

Same active ingredient as name brands at a fraction of the cost. Softgels kick in within 30 minutes and the 250-count supply lasts forever. Best used occasionally to avoid tolerance. Highly recommend.
