I used this to repair a worn section of my patent leather jacket. The 'leather' was completely worn off, and the underlying fabric was exposed-about the size of a quarter. I used a leather repair product first to fill in the damaged area. After that dried, it had a flat finish. I used the Charles Stewart paint to give the repaired area a nice shine. It worked great as a finishing touch to my repair and it looks like new! For small scratches and scuffs Charles Stewart will probably be fine on it's own. But, for larger repairs you'll need to first use a filler .

Worked miracles. Made my purse look new again. And really sets like patent leather.

I can really complain it does the job. Made my Jordan's look good again but it's far from perfect. Simple and easy to put on for scuffs and scratches on sneakers like the patent leather Jordan 11s

It worked OK, but probably meant for small repairs in inconspicuous areas. The area I needed to do was a bit larger and in a very noticeable location. The item did not come with good instructions, so it was a bit difficult to use IMO. When to sand? Or not to Sand? Apply thin? Thick? I tried both and you can see the brush strokes, it did not dry smooth either way but it was shinier than before and covered the area, so all in all, this is just OK. I ended up ordering a new item as the repair didn't look all that great.

Horrible product. It looked great at first after use, and it made the shoes look new again (scuff marks were gone); then 2 months later, it started to peel off in large pieces! I thought the shoes were falling apart, but in closer examination saw it was the coating that was peeling off.

Worked like a charm on a deep scuff in a pair of nice patent leather boots that are a staple in my wardrobe and were otherwise fine. Very happy I don’t have to buy a whole new pair!

This stuff is great, I only with it came in different colors! I used it to touch up the tip of a pair of patent leather boots I got from Poshmark and you'd never be able to tell. While it will cure on its own indoors in 24 hours per the instructions, I think using a UV light significantly sped up the drying process. Don't quote me on this yet, though I am planning on doing some experimentation with some scrap leather and different LED wavelengths

I used this on my patent leather shoes to fix scuffing and the leather wear and tear. It 100% works, it's the only thing I have used that works and it saved my shoes. It leaves a nice wet finish when dried. It can run so be careful when applying, use a small amount. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Ich habe meine Lackstiefeletten damit repariert. Diese hatten eine runde Stelle obendrauf, wo sich die Oberfläche abgelöst hatte. Ich habe den Lack darüber gestrichen und kann sie nun wieder tragen. Man sieht es nur von Nahem.

Great to tidy up school shoes which have been scuffed. Effective from a distance but obviously if examined closely you can see the cover up. Matches the patent on clarks and next school shoes well. Bottle will last ages as you only need a little bit. Easy to apply and you can't really go wrong with it.
