I love black, unsweetened coffee. But, I have a sensitive stomach. I’ve been on a quest for a cup of rich tasting coffee I could enjoy 3-4 cups a day without the indigestion and burn. Since switching to this Lucy Jo’s Brainstorm roast I have found that. It smells amazing when it’s brewing and you’ll definitely know the coffee is on! The aroma is somewhat sweet with toasted almonds. It is not overly smoky or with that charred aroma that so many darker roast demonstrate. It tastes very balanced, not bitter, and doesn’t leave an unpleasant lingering aftertaste. If you’re fussy with your brew like I am, I think you’ll enjoy this one.

I am VERY happy with this. Even grind. No acid burn afterwards but great flavor. Not bitter or over-roasted. I limit myself to 1-2 cups a day so this is perfect for a low-usage situation.

This low-acid coffee is a godsend! I thought I was going to have to give up coffee (a fate worse than death). Was upsetting my stomach. With this, I can have the dark roast coffee I love. It tastes great & no different from regular coffee. Got it on autoship.
