I have bought this for the second time. I used the first one for over 5 years. Good product

Was initially sold by the Bosch brand. Went for a higher spec model as I wanted to do things like moss removal outdoors. The unit doesn't feel Bosch like or rather what you would expect of a Bosch standard machine. It is plasticy, doesn't feel very durable. So if you are thinking of using this for any commercial use, forget it. My first issue came with the pressure hose splitting. Must have rubbed against some cement edges. Split. Had to buy a new one. I now wrap the hose with another tube to avoid scrapes. Im sure Bosch could have made a better quality hose. The second issue is definitely a design flaw. The machine was being used outdoors. The motor I presumed heated up, smelt funny and let out a plume of white smoke. The local dealers didn't want to provide warranty as it bought online and not from the shop. Apparently there are few service providers that provide online warranties. Called up the bosch customer care, who are pretty good. They gave me numbers of local dealers who provide online warranties. Took the machine to one, who outright rejected because it wasn't bought from the shop. Another dealer opened up about disparities in online pricing and not being a level playing field. Started making excuses that it takes a month to get warranty spares, but could provide replace the motor in 2 days if it was paid for etc. Rang up the bosch service centre, as good as they are they gave me the local bosch managers number. I ran out of steam by then, the machine ended up being stuck for 2 months because of lockdown and I ended up paying 3.5K for a new motor. There is definitely a design flaw with this machine as they could have simply cut off the motor if the temperature went above a certain range. It is a big shame as the pressure washing is quite good. Its just that you can't run it for long. So if you are looking for a machine to just use once in a while buy it. Don't use it for too long, give adequate pauses in between.

Great washer for home use, little expensive but does the job very well

Review after 8 months usage. My Rating: Satisfactory Expectation from brand like Bosch should be Excellent. Product need to undergo design enhancements. Positives: Good to clean tiles, walls. Pressure and throw is enough for home purpose. Well compact. Can accomodate all of its ascessories on the washer body slots itself. Easy to store. Portability convenience far better. Should have made a slot to keep the inlet hose connector aswell. Negatives: Cannot use for more than 30 minutes in a row. It is aircooled. So getting heated heavily and i had to replace motor under warranty once. Warranty only for 6 months. Got to know from service centre that, it must be serviced every 6 months and must change the lubricant / oil. I later found that there watercooled options available now in market. Once repaired, it is giving ackward sound and smell during short operations even. Could not find any option for autocutoff on heating, which would have made the product better. On the Gun, all attachments are pretty tight to de-assemble. Have to leave gun as it is, as it sprains arm on efforts to dismantle. Have a second thought to choose the same brand, if i have to buy another one on getting this faulty again.
