We are Loving this Bible!
My son is 7 & we are loving this Bible. We read the “Beginners Bible” first & it was a great starter but not quite enough detail for my very interested son. This one will last him for Years! There are parts that are hard for him to fully comprehend but as he gets older and learns more, it’ll be perfect. I love B the breakdowns and questions throughout to get him thinking about how he can use this information in his day to day life! Would Definitely recommend for age 7+. Even as an adult, I find it interesting.

Great bible for kids (and even adults)
This bible is so easy to read and understand the message in God’s word. It also has really nice images that help keep kids engaged. I bought it for my 3 year old to help start his learning journey, since this is what they use at kid’s church.

My 6-year-old has reached the stage where he wants to read "on his own," and this NIrV translation makes that possible. The sentences are short and the vocabulary is simplified without losing the core meaning of the text. It has turned Bible time from a passive "listening" activity into an active "reading" one for him. Standout Features for Kids: • "Life in Bible Times" & "Did You Know?": These are my son’s favorite parts. They provide historical context (like what people ate or wore) with great illustrations that break up the long columns of text. • "Words to Treasure": These call-out boxes highlight key verses. It makes it very easy to pick a "verse of the week" for memorization. • Full-Color Jungle Safari Theme: The "Adventure" theme is consistently applied throughout the 20 special insert pages. It makes the book feel like an exciting manual rather than a dry textbook. • Readable Font: The 12-point font (in the Large Print edition) is incredibly helpful for young eyes that are still mastering tracking across a page. Pros: • NIrV Translation: Truly accessible for a first-grade reading level. • Engagement: The "Live It!" sections give actual hands-on activities to apply what they just read. • Durable: We have the Leathersoft version, and it feels sturdy enough to survive being shoved into a church bag or backpack. Cons: • Weight: It is a full Bible (over 1,500 pages), so it’s a bit heavy for a 6-year-old to carry around for long periods. • Paper Thinness: Like most Bibles, the pages are thin. We had to explain to our son to be extra careful when turning them so they don’t tear.

This is one of the best models I have seen for kids who are 7 years or more. The colorful pictures will draw attention and create more interest for more reading. I am happy with the purchase.
