UTG Super Slim RMR Mount, for Glock Rear Sight Dovetail, Black

I was looking for a dove tail mount for my Holosun 207C. I ordered this after getting a DPP Titanium Mounting Kit/Anti Flicker Sealing Plate Kit, because of the "Super Slim" name, thinking it would be thinner, getting the optic lower to the slide. The DPP worked, and it turns out was actually slightly slimmer! However, while I was a bit disappointed to see that the UTG RMR mount was slightly thicker, it was superior in finish and enginerering. Where as the DPP was just an extruded rectangle with slightly rounded corners, this one was camphered up from the width of the slide to the base of the optic! It was not merely a flat cut out plate, but rather a clearly engineered part that provided a very clean and stylish attachment for my optic! You will need a nylon punch to install it, not just a sght pusher, however. You put in the dovetail then screw the plate onto that which also snugs the dovetail to lock it in place. I wouldn't want to push it in assembled and risk damaging the screws. It comes with the star tool you need for the screws. The screws to then attach the RMR optic are too long for the Holosun, so I borrowed the ones from the DPP kit, and it worked beautifully. It maintained zero, and a solid hold on the optic. This is the one I prefer, but you will need shorter screws if not mounting a Trijicon RMR. Highly recommend this one. Fit my Glock 19X just fine, great way to add a RMR to your glock if you are not wanting to have the slide milled, or if you are new to red dots on handguns and are unsure of permanently modifying the top of your slide. Installation was straight foward and simple if you have a sight pusher tool. I would not recommend drifting in the dovetail with a hammer because it is thinner than any rear sight you removed and could possibly bend although I dont know for sure cause I have the sight pusher. The Dovetail that rmr plate screws to went in easy to about maybe a quarter of the way then git good and tight and the tool was needed. After installing I noticed a small space between the bottom of the rmr mount dovetail and the top of the slide from when I tightened the rmr mount plate to the dovetail part it sucked up the dovetail securing the entire mount which made me believe UTG designed this feature intentionally to ensure the security of the mount and rmr when the rmr divetail is loose fitting into the guns rear sight dovetail on the slide which is a good thing but I was prepared to instal on a gen 4 g23 incase it didnt fit the gen 5 19x like an earlier review I read on bvb here stated. The mount is thin and the height of the RMR is lower than I expected. Mount is good to go and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I recommend this to anyone looking to easily install a RMR in minutes.

While this a decent product to try your hand with a rds before committing to a slide cut, it flew off of my gun and smacked me in the forehead/eyebrow after about 100-150 rounds. The plate itself was still attached to the red dot but it stripped out the holes on the dovetail part. I did use loctite and the provided screws.

The mount is solid and fits right on my g21. Just note when tightening screws go slow my threads stripped out. I think it may have been The screws are a bit long. So test fit your sight on the mount to double check . But overall seems sturdy and doesn’t sit up to high. It’s a easy fix for the screw’s just don’t be like me and strip out the plate. I’m just gonna order another one but this time do it right

Picked up the UTG super slim RMR mount for 11 bucks from the warehouse and Installed it on my Glock 30, gen 4. Since UTG is a company I am familiar with and has stated “made in the USA practices” I figured, why not, but I also picked up the RM44 from Trijicon, just to be safe. The install itself was pretty straightforward. After I used a nylon tipped hammer to get the dovetail piece started and snug, I installed one of the 3 included sight mounting screws and with it was able to use a sight pusher tool to center the piece in the dovetail. Attaching the plate and tightening the 2 mounting screws caused the dovetail piece to rise up against the plate, in effect wedging it up into the narrower part of the dovetail, a great design IMO since the dovetail is a friction mount & is narrower at the top then at the bottom. All the screws included (6) in the kit came with blue lock tight already applied and the ones intended for mounting the actual sight fit perfectly. The only thing missing would be tourqe values for the screws, trijicon plates that I have purchased in the past for MOS ready slides have the values engraved into them, a nice touch. 2 NM (Newton meters) has been the average, so I went with that. Now I just need to put some rounds through it and see how it holds up. I did read one review where the reviewer stated the screws that hold the sight to the mounting plate came lose after 50 rounds, so that could be an issue potentially, especially since the Glock 30 is a 45 auto, so time will tell. I plan on adding to this review after a few hundred rounds.

It was fairly easy to install.the quality is amazing no scratches or scuffs .the machining and aluminum feels great .it fit my rmr with no issues .

Too large -Doesn’t fit Holosun 407k or Romeo Zero. No good description/list of compatible sights by the seller. Solid but not slim. Angled cut on the sides looks weird on Glock. Sticks out on the sides wider than the widest Glock slide on the market (Glock 21/30). Another $20 part sitting in the closet. Mehhh.

The product is as described. It does feel cheap, but it's thick. The sight picture will be higher than normal, and you may be able to get a 1/3 co-witness with suppressor height sights barely. Once again, it's a cheap alternative to mount an RMR or Holosun (whatever has an RMR footprint). Worth $13.
