This is my second HSD bag, and if you cannot tell from pictures, I am retired Military. I bought the smaller version of this one and loved it but it was too small. So I moved up to the larger version and I love it. I work a job where my hours can go from 7.5 hours to 12 hours very quickly. So not only do I need room to keep my main meal, sometimes two meals, plus any snacks and drinks to get me through a day. Plus I move a lot and need to keep certain items with me, like cables, wall plug, and a portable battery to charge my phone (when I am on a break of course). To assist with this on my first bag, I used a Molle pouch I had to create extra room and store my electronic necessities. But with the larger one, the front pouch does fine. I keep a the Old Man Patch (it's a Soldier) on there because he is a High Speed Daddy (just like the owner, most days...😉) Then I add a new monthly morale patch. The interior is incredibly spacious, as it holds all I need and then some. The picture of the main compartment is after my meal break, and there was a sandwhich and 2 twelve ounce Ginger Ales in here also. The interior mesh pocket holds my extra morale patches and my condiments and some meds. Keeps everything in place and keeps food at the right temperature. On the outside I have added a beverage pouch, attached by the Molle system on back of bag, to hold my coffee container. The outside mesh pockets hold my belt keepers and a small back up flashlight. For my water container, you can see I added a Nitize S-Biner, to the carry handle so I can carry everything I need. It is a little awkward to carry, but not too much to bother me (more on this later). This bag is easy to maintain as you just need to wipe it out/off with a warm soapy washcloth. During the cold/flu season I will wipe the inside with one of those Clorox wipes to keep it clean & disenfected. Another plus with this bag is that it comes with a removable liner, with velcro attachments, that can be used to hold ice and not soak the inside. You will need to check the ice and remove any water. The fabric is holding up well and overall this bag (and my other one) feel really sturdy and crafted. I feel these bags will last a long time. Unfortunately my youngest has been asking about the smaller bag 🤨.... This bag is great!!!! Although I wish there were minor changes/upgrades, but not enough to effect the 5 star rating. I wish the Molle system were on the sides and lose the mesh pockets. This way individuals can put any type of pouch/carrier on their bag and be a little easier to carry. Then put a side pouch on back to hold phones, a tablet or periodicals, but keep the back of bag flat as possible. There is one another change I would wish for and that is all zipper have two zippers like the main pouch. Still great bag highly recommend.

I work in construction and have been eating out of a lunchbox for the past 31 years. My last lunchbox was actually stolen out of my work truck, so it was time again for another. I typically stop by a Target or sporting goods store to grab one, but this time I decided to check beyond to Amazon and the internet at large to see what other options there were. I found this sucker on Amazon and it seemed to check all of my boxes: not pink or turquoise or otherwise "trendy", lol, small enough to not take up real estate in my truck yet big enough to contain my food and some odds and ends (food, ice pack, utensils, phone charger), good insulation, reasonably durable for the price, holds a my travel mug on the outside. I got the medium one as opposed to the large. I have no doubt to its durability- it's made with "tactical"-grade fabric and will probably last and look good doing it for the rest of my career. The lunchbox is surprising light for its sturdiness. I can verify that my freezer pack stays cool from when I take it out of the freezer at 4 AM until I return it to the freezer at usually 5 PM. The mesh and elastic dual cupholders are working as intended, holding my 20 oz. thermos in place thru my zany car commute and throughout the day in my bumpy work truck. I'm liking this sucker. Even looking around for some interesting hook velcro patches to decorate the front loop velcro panel on the front pocket!

Got this lunchbox in august 2021 for my middle schooler. No complaints. Very sturdy - that lunchbox has taken a beating. My son flings it around and it still does not have tears or holes. The zipper is very sturdy. Very tough lunchbox. The inner lining is thick - I have not tried to see if it would leak or not. But it is definitely the thickest lining I have seen in a lunch box. And it is very roomy. My son eats a lot and that box can hold a lot of items. Lunch plus snacks and there is room left. There is a front pocket. The zipper is very sturdy as well. Not a lot of room to store much in that pocket. My son uses it for money and a flash drive. I inadvertently left the flash drive and a few dollar bills in that pocket one day before throwing the lunchbox in the washer. The flash drive came out intact. It still worked! After several months of use, the lunchbox is still intact. That has never happened before. It would take some very purposeful effort to tear it or rip it. A keeper.

Good size, can hold a lot of food! Has the cooler insert to keep drinks and cold foods cold! Light weight with an extra padded shoulder strap that’s adjustable! Great lunch box for the cost!

I never saw myself as the write a review for a lunch bag type, but this is a significant upgrade over what I carried daily for many years. The size is right for me to carry a couple ice packs, lunch in a glass container, a canned drink, a protein shake and a couple snacks in plastic containers. The soft sides and top expand well if I add a little extra. The interior liner took me a little getting used to and maybe it took a little time to loosen it up, but the idea is great. If something spills, the liner will contain it and make clean up easier. The side and front pockets are good for a variety of things. The carry strap is nice, no problems with it. The look is good, too. I am in law enforcement, so this style works well for my style and environment. Durability is fine for what I do - home to car to office, but it is clearly built to withstand more rigorous use. I put a lot of stock in what you get for what you pay, and the lunch bag hits that value mark for me. Overall, I am really happy with the product and recommend it.
