So up-scale looking. Made my light fixture in dining room look so expensive. Color is fabulous and is easy fit as it just snaps over light bulbs. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to change look of their lighting.

These are a nice modernizing update to brushed nickel chandeliers that I have with older white fabric shades in which the liners had yellowed. At first I put in clear daylight led bulbs but that was too bright (others installed dimmer switches) so I put in opaque soft white bulbs which gives off just the right amount of light. The fabric is supported by a clear plastic liner and the tops and bottoms are trimmed with a texturized leatherette trim. We will see how the clear liner holds up over time. The led bulbs are cooler than traditional incandescent so this should help with longevity. I bought these twice as seconds. Out of 6 shades one was not usable as the liner and fabric was too large to fit and had ripples. Luckily I only needed 5.

These shades look pretty and allow a lot of light from the bulbs, but are not quite as blinding as bare bulbs. They are an improvement over the opaque shades that came with the dining room chandelier which allowed only a dim light from the same bulbs. By the way, they work great with the dimmer switch too. I'd buy them again if I had too but hope these last as long as the fixture.
