Has anyone run these through the printer to see if they will jam?

I always have to put a small piece of washi tape on the envelope seal before I run them through the printer. Then it will not jam. A pain - but it works!

Are these envelopes see through or thin papers? i am sending the "save the date postcard picture". thanks!

No, I wouldn't call the paper see through or even thin. I used them to send my wedding invites that I had printed as postcards. My invites were completely navy blue with silver writing, and you could not see the navy blue through the envelope.

What makes these environmentally friendly?

They're paper, not plastic. Paper is more biodegradable than any other material, and trees is a renewable resource, unlike plastics made from petroleum.

Can you do ink calligraphy on these? Does the ink bleed?

it should be fine. I use a similar pen.
