Solved my problem. Previously, someone butchered the door to the point I couldn't put a deadbolt on. This works perfect and is very strong. Looks good too.

This reinforcer did it’s intended job, but is a bit too thin. It caved a bit when I reinstalled my lock.

Following a break in, this was part of our “beefing up security mission”. This will help prevent our steel door from splitting if another attempt is made. It came with all screws needed and two nuts (no idea what they were for). No install instructions but I removed the deadbolt mechanism (not the bolt bit) and secured this to the edge of the door by the bolt, first. Then I replaced the mechanism and tightened all. Then I used the four screws to secure the plate front and back. The screws went into the steel with minimal effort, but you will need a power driver. I don’t think this could be done with a hand driver. Very happy with the quality.

Item was fine but I was short one on my order

Door was split at latch and latch was loose. This bracket reinforced the split and secured the latch again.

Measurements were right on and this fit my door perfectly.
