Works like a charm for smooth coverage. I used this in two different cosplay projects. 1. Colored the inside of a plastic ornament. 2. Painted a molded leather headpiece after dyeing. Both turned out beautifully! The color is bright and adhered flawlessly. Coverage was challenging on the smooth surface of the ornament, but I used a super fine piece of sandpaper to fix that. I dulled the brightness on the headpiece with a black wash. The orb is much better representation of the bright blue color. Easy to use. A little goes a long way. Cleaned it out of my brushes using Dawn soap. Picture is the headpiece before applying the wax coloring. I used a mixture of gold, rose, sand blue with a black wash to blend.

Yes, It came in a tube not a tin. That did not bother me at all. The color is absolutely beautiful! I love being able to choose how bold or sheer I want the metallic color to be. This peacock color has really added some pop to my steampunk journal. As for value for your money...I gave three stars. This was more expensive on Amazon, but they were the only place that had this color in stock and would ship to my remote location in Alaska. I ended up paying about $4.00 more on amazon for this tube.

I cannot say enough how much I love Prima Marketing products. The paints and theses wax paints are awesome! Great colors and the photos do not do them justice. Very pigmented! Very easy to work with , yes it is a small container and small amount of paint, but a little bit goes a very long way!

I used this as well as another color to re-finish this hall cabinet. I thought it was very easy to work with and such a rich, creamy color. Will buy this brand again!!!

I usually use another product like this but I decided to try this one because of the range of available colors. And the color is lovely. My only complaint is that it has a very strong fragrance, sort of like a flowery fabric softener scent, and it takes ages to fade. The smell probably isn't unpleasant to most folks, but if you're sensitive to artificial fragrances, this may not be the product for you. The product I usually use has a strong solvent smell, but that smell dissipates over a day or two. So I hoped that the perfume of this Metallique Wax would also go away quickly. I tried the Art Alchemy Metallique Wax on a small test area of a project and over a week later, it still has a strong fragrance. So, while the color is lovely, I won't be able to use it. Something to note, as well, is that it works a little differently from similar products (Rub n Buff, for example). So it may be worth watching one of the videos on the internet about how to use it before using it on a project of your own.
