$30 for this thing is a great price. It's well balanced, handle fits nicely in the hand, and the sheath actually seems like it's made for the knife. It's not free of issues though. Most are finishing issues, that make me feel that the knife is a reject from a higher end line or maybe the person doesn't know what they are doing, or they are pressed for time, and there is limited quality control. There are plenty of areas that could have used a little more buffing, the edge still has markes from rough grinding, at the tip is blued from high heat of grinding, that is going to effect the temper. Back to the sheath. It's not a super tight fit, but it does fit. The welt isn't leather. It's some sort of foam. The cuff that extends up over the guard isn't attached well and creates a little pocket that can catch the blade when resheathing. It's a nice knife for $30. Nice enough I can see paying much more if they fixed the finishing issues
