Hi Client,

Thank you for your question.  We have check the owner's manual of LG Window-Type Air conditioner lw1012er, unfortunately, it dosen't includ any information about the diameter of the drain hole in the back of the unit. As to our experience with some of our comstomers, who brought the drain connector 4/5in (20mm) for their LG unit and fit perfectly, therefore, we assume the 4/5in (20mm) (black color) will fit your unit.

However, the design of the machine may vary, even products of the same brand. So we kindly suggest you to measure the diameter of the drain hole (should be at the back of the unit),  we have drain connector with different size:3/4in(15mm), 3/5in(18mm), 4/5in(20mm), choose the one fits the drain hole.

Or you can sent us the drain hole size, then we will know which type of drain connector will fit your unit.

how do i remove plug?

The hole in the base pan of my window air conditioner was not plugged, so I cannot tell you how to remove the plug in yours.  You could probably knock it out with a screwdriver.  Be very careful not to hit the refrigerant compressor or tubing.   The plastic Jade fitting is installed by inserting it in the hole in the pan, and turning it ninety degrees, either clockwise or anti-clockwise.  Remember to remove the Jade fitting before sliding the air conditioner out of its case, for example, at the end of the cooling season to clean out accumulated dead insects and mold.
