Is there anyway to order just 1 pack of xl 20 to try them out? i don't want to buy 80 and get stuck with them if i don't like them.

I don't know if there is a way to buy them in a pack of only 20. My initial exposure to them was in a skilled nursing facility where they worked well. So I started buying them by the case of 80.

Can u pee in them during the night? Or will it leak on the bed?

They can leak if you get the wrong size, but all of them can if not on properly. I bought full pads the length of the hospital bed on Amazon, A true life saver. I washed everything, every single day sheets, pads, blankets, pillow case and blankets so my husband would be comfortable. What happened to the price? They are almost twice as expensive as just one month ago ($49 in December 2020, $86 in January 2021)!!!

I think XL will be good especially if he's bedridden and you're putting them on him. If he's mobile and wears more than sweat pants when out and about then maybe get the large size.
