I used this for a cross country move, taking it through various hotels and motels. This thing was exactly what we needed. The cat took to it without a problem. The zipper held solid, even when full of litter and carried suitcase-style. And I never smelled it, even during 12 hour long car rides with closed windows. (NOTE: I kept it clean, so I don't know whether it would also contain the smell of dirty litter). This was a worthwhile purchase, it is easy to clean, and it holds up well. 100% recommend.

I just moved from California to Illinois with my cat, and I was absolutely stressing about taking him with me. I had also been stressing about somehow finding a place in the car, with all my belongings, where to keep a fully filled litterbox. Enter this litterbox, which I read the reviews for and felt assured that it would work. Y'all, you have no idea. THIS THING IS AMAZING. It's designed to just have the litter be poured in directly, but I decided to use a liner just to keep things as tidy as possible. I put the scoop and trash bags in the inside next to the liner filled with litter. You guys, this thing is amazing. It advertises that it's sturdy and no litter falls out when it's zipped - and that would be 100% correct. My cat survived the 4-day road trip across the US because of this thing. He wouldn't use it at the roadsides (just because he's picky), but I'd unzip it and leave it out in the hotels and he could go at his pleasure with no fuss. Best of all, it's SUPER collapsible, despite being sturdy - so I could smush it up super small into the tiniest places in my car, and was able to maximize how many moving boxes I had. It is a lot smaller than I had anticipated, but my giant chunky 14-pound cat had no problem using it. In all, I think I used it for about a week straight, and didn't have a single problem with it. Tl;dr - you guys, I would buy this A MILLION times for any type of travel with your cat. This thing is a life saver. It's definitely not for permanent use, but absolutely perfect for travel!

I used this product for a cross country road trip and it was perfect. I have a 20lb Siamese and he was able to fit in it fine. The litter box was in my back floor board and though my car would not use it in the car, he did use this in the hotels. The only complaint I have is the zipper. If you don’t close it perfectly the litter will leak with where the handle for carrying is placed. The scoop and the bowl were life-savers. I told myself I didn’t really want or need those before ordering, but I wanted this box, and they ended up being great to have anyway. I use biodegradable, flushable, wood litter, so I place the litter box in the shower to help with all the spillage. The box is flimsy - I mean it’s meant to fold up so this is a given.

We Bought this portable cat litter tray! Works great I advise to line the bottom with cat pee pads. Makes for easy cleanup. Just dump used litter when done. Wipe with lysol wipes and its easy to refold and store in your suitcase. We recently took our kitten on a trip. When we got to our Airbnb we set it up. Great portable and foldable cat litter tray!

This little litterbox was perfect for my needs! I just moved across the country with two dogs and a cat in my car, 5 day total trip. I was worried that this litterbox would be too small, would absorb urine, and wouldn't be sturdy, but it worked perfect! I placed this on the ground in front of the passenger seat of my '17 Subaru Outback, and just put a bathmat underneath it. The dogs had the backseat and luggage in the cargo space, so it was the only location that worked. For the first day (only a 3 hour drive) my kitty wanted nothing to do with it. In the evening, it was super easy to just zip this up and carry it into our hotel room, then set it up again. After the first night, she was happy to use it in the car. I use crystal litter, so there isn't any urine smell which is nice; but my cat loves to dig to the very bottom of the litterbox then pee, so I was worried the litter might not absorb it in time and the fabric would, but my worries were unfounded. The fabric didn't absorb anything at all, which was great! Now, when driving it wasn't nice when kitty went #2, but that just meant pulling over and cleaning it out real quick. After our road trip was over, we used this box for an additional few days while waiting for the moving company, and it still worked perfect. I'm very happy to have this for future trips! As a sidenote, if you're ever travelling with dogs and cats, in the evening I put the litterbox inside one of those collapsable, covered puppy/kitten play pens, and it worked great to keep the dogs out of the box, and the keep the litter from being spread all over the hotel room. It's a great duo!

I cannot say enough great things about this litter box! I have now purchased two of these boxes for my kittens (they outgrew the first one I bought) over the past year. To begin with, the colors are bright and fun, and the set comes with some great accessories like a litter scoop and pop-up travel bowl that were added bonuses. The box holds quite a large amount of litter, and it is so easy to zip it up even while full for travel. No litter has ever fallen out while the box is zipped up. In a year, this box has never leaked, has no odors when zipped up, has no scratches, and the handles and zippers have held up from lots of carrying around. The box is compact and easy to fold up when not in use or while in transit. It is incredibly well-made. If you have active, traveling cats, look no further for a portable litter box!

It folds and is nice for traveling

Great for travels. Seems sturdy. A little big when not folded - so check your measurements. The only problem is that the strap for closing it when you fold it is too short. While I’m generally the expert folder I can’t get it back together as flat as it came, and can’t use the strap. A little longer and it had worked fine.

We were travelling to Florida from Ontario, Canada for the first time with our 3-year-old cat who hates being in the van. I researched ahead of time best tips and tricks and knew we would need a travelling litter box. I decided to go with this one after looking at a number of options. The size and the ability to zip it up sold me on it. I first placed a training pee pad in the bottom, then added a plastic litter box liner and then added my cat's litter into the box. The box is a soft-sided plastic canvas type of fabric so it isn't as sturdy as say solid plastic litter boxes. But that makes it more convenient to move around. It is also easier to fit into areas in the van, like behind your front seat. I rolled the top of the liner over the edge of the box placed and rolled up the lid under the liner while we were travelling. When we went into the hotel, I just untucked and zipped up the lid to carry it into room. Super easy! You really had no idea what I was carrying. The next morning, I could just tie up the liner and throw it away and start fresh for the next day of travel. It made travelling super easy with kitty.

We used this as a carrier for our litter pan that travelled inside. It worked the best for our motel stops. We could carry just the right amount of litter for one night and not have to bring everything from the car.

The litter fit on the floor of the car and my cat used it right away as he gets very anxious when driving in the car. The zipper kept all the litter in when we took it out of the car. I’m pleased with this product.
