We have had this product multiple times over the years. It used to be a delicious high protein snack. We recently ordered during prime day since they were on sale and these are now absolutely disgusting. The chocolate flavor has been replaced and this taste like your drinking chemicals. The after taste makes me gag and want to brush my teeth right away. These weren’t expired so I’m assuming the formula has been changed so the company could increase their profit while sacrificing even making this drink drinkable or the new bottles they have switched to have so much chemicals in them that it’s ruined all flavor. Do not buy this product. The old one was good but this one is a straight to the trash after one sip type of product now

So, knowing a little about protein drinks I really shook the bottle before I cracked it open. The first third of the bottle tasted pretty good. It was smooth and had a good chocolate taste to it. But then, I took a drink and got something slimy on my lips. Not just "A" slimy, but enough that I thought I had sort of missed my mouth and it was straight shake, so I licked it off. Then I ended up having to wipe my mouth. Then, I got more slimy on the next drink. So I asked my son about "bits" I'm Protein Shakes premixed and he said sometimes it happened. But I kept trying to explain they felt slimy, so I spit some on a tissue and it looked gross. So gross, that I poured the rest through a sieve into a cup. DUDE! The sieve caught several more of the slimy things. I mean my son first thought they were maggots. At closer look they weren't moving, but it was gross enough that I am in NO way interested in even trying another one. Those bits felt slimy and looked slimy. Done.

If I could give it a negative star I would! I just opened one of the bottles and it was like cottage cheese! It was disgusting! I drank several of them and they were good but halfway through the order this happened so now I’ll have to throw away the rest of them because I don’t trust the product. And before you ask, I keep them cold.

The flavor is virtually nonexistent, it’s almost a chore drinking it. While I’m sure it does provide all the nutrients you need, it’s just lacking any sort of flavor whatsoever. It diminishes the quality and leaves a more watery texture than a shake.

Totally undrinkable. These arrived with chunky, slimy texture and tasted off. Something clearly went wrong in storage or shipping — possibly exposed to heat or freezing. I ended up throwing them out. Be cautious ordering these online; I’d only buy fresh in-store from now on. They are convenient and I like the screw on lid

I’ve been enjoying the Core Power brand quite a bit but they are expensive…. I decided to give these a go since they’re a bit cheaper but they taste kinda funky. Since I’ve been struggling to choke these down I won’t be buying these again. If you wanna try these buy one and go from there, getting a case was a mistake on my part…. Kinda gross.

Normally I would rate this 5 stars. A little backstory… I have not been able to eat solid foods for a year. I’m going through the process of figuring out why - it’s been long and hard on me physically and mentally. The premier protein immune health chocolate flavor with the blue stripe on it has been the only shake I’ve been able to tolerate. It doesn’t make me throw up or have horrible stomach pains. Nor does it make me nauseous. It is literally all I can drink. Without it I would have nothing to “eat”. Suddenly it disappeared off of the shelves at stores and now it has vanished online as well. Amazon subscribe was the ONLY place I could find it. My last shipment came in the purple bottle.. so I go online to check and all the pictures for this product have been changed. Now there’s one that says “new look improved taste”… I have shed so many tears over this. I am literally surviving on this drink. Nothing else works for me. This is a meal replacement. I am beyond upset they changed the flavor.. it IS NOT improved. It does NOT taste better. This “new flavor” makes me nauseous. So I’m officially back to forcing myself to drink something that makes me miserable. All so I can survive. Why? Why premier protein? Why did you go and change this perfect product….

There are lumps in there. It’s dried up shake so it’s nothing bad but the first time kinda grosses you out. 🤢 Update: 11/22:25 Tried to finish the case but those chunks! Also they are starting to taste funky. Checked the expiration date and they weren’t out of date. Bought the same from Costco and they have ALL been good. Don’t get these from Amazon no matter how cheap they are, go to Costco!
