Bike Lift Hoist for Garage Ceiling, Heavy Duty Ceiling Mountain Bicycle Hanger Pulley Rack 100 lb Capacity

I bought 2 of these for our Lectric E-Bikes. The bikes each weigh about 45 lbs and these had no problem raising and holding the bikes. Highly recommended.

Great lifts. Strong, easy to mount and use.

This was easy to install and kind of works just the hooks on the back. Don’t really work well to hold the seat every time I bump into the bike it falls down off the hooks.

The Instructions are limited. Per photo the instructions are diagrams only. However the diagrams were easy to follow. I did not use their mounting hardware. I felt the mounting hardware was not as strong as it needed to be to hang the bikes from the ceiling over my new car.I mounted pulley brackets on a 4 foot long 2x6 board using 1 5\8” screws. I mounted the 2 x 6 boards to the ceiling trusses with 4 inch construction screws.When measuring the distance from back of bike seat to center of bike handlebars add another inch on to each pulley placement so that your lifting forks are not directly above the seat or the handle bars. You want a little wider measurement on your lifting pulleys and hooks so that it is easier to raise and lower your bikes. This is shown in the direction sheet photo attached. Hardest part of the installation was making sure you are mounting this into the ceiling wood trusses and not just into the drywall board only. Use a stud finder!

Bought two and love that my bikes are now up and out of the way in my garage. I followed other general advice and installed a 56" 2x4 lag bolted across 3 of the garage joists. 3 - 4" lag bolts at 3 points of the joists. If you don't have a stud finder and do have a garage opener, find joists by marking usually 16" or 24" from where garage open is bolted into ceiling rafter. Device works great and I used all the slots to screw into the 2x4's. Bought more screws to do this. Probably over kill, but I don't want this to fall down on me or my WRX! Device works great, I am lifting fairly heavy mountain bikes. Rated 100lbs and feel hoist would hold this much. Only gripe is rope dimension is small as others noted - perhaps I will change out later. Good luck!

Works ok, but the screws pulled out of the mollies. I had to rehang with better attachments.

Working great

Used as a ladder hoist with wider bracket in place of the 2 hooks and attached hooks to attach to ladders with eyebolts on each side at the top and bottom in the carport for 2 ladders, ease of lift especially after chest surgery, great modes for other uses, just happen to have brackets and hooks, good use of my engineering degree. Just turning 80 next month, need all the help available.

As DYI person I found it fairly simple to install.Need a 9 to 10 foot ceiling to be able to walk comfortably under the bikes.
